He then presented us a couple of options for how to enclose the open space and tear down the middle wall. Once we decided on one, he turned it into formal plans and took care of getting the permit for us. Throughout, he did a great job of listening to us and answering our questions. In fact, he has answered countless questions during this process, and we would recommend him to anyone without hesitation.
Description of Work: John created a plan to convert our existing part carport / part garage structure into a 2-car garage. He also took care of getting our permit with the plans signed off.

+ -1 moreJohn gave us three different designs to start. Once we settled on the look we worked together to finalize the details. The plans were perfect as all we had to do was give them to the contractor so they could build it.
Description of Work: John designed a deck for our backyard, including built in benches, pergola, and trellis. He also helped with redesigning our front stoop.

+ -1 moreJohn's skills and professionalism were a perfect match for our project. He was flexible to work on only the components we needed, but of course we needed more and more, and John accommodated us as the project grew.
Description of Work: Provided complete drawings of a four-story, four-unit, 100 year-old building for whole building renovation. John was very responsive to our timelines and budget. He also did the interior space design for an additional interior space added months later and assisted with a drainage problem that emerged. John was prompt and readily available to answer questions and make adjustments. John was knowledgeable and calm in a very hectic environment.
