Description of Work: Joel is also a painter (exterior & interior homes) & he does come across as nice & easy to work with. I put down a deposit for painting the exterior of my house which never happened. He still owes me $1200 I paid almost a year ago. I have read reviews also on Yelp where he has done this to NUMEROUS other people. DO NOT DO BUSINESS OF ANY KIND WITH JOEL VERDON. He is a thief. I will be taking legal action however.

+ -1 moreOverall, this was a horrible experience. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH JOEL VERDON OR JV WOODCRAFT.
Description of Work: My wife and I gave Joel Verdon a $500.00 deposit on May 25,2011 for a 7' farmhouse table and two benches. In the beginning Joel was prompt at returning my phone calls and emails. Then about 3 months ago he seemed to vanish. I have left dozens of voicemails and sent dozens of emails, and Mr. Verdon has not responded. I have recently discovered I am not the only one he scammed. I have evidence there are at least a half a dozen other individuals from OR, WA, and CA who have had similar experiences with Mr. Verdon. All of these individuals gave Mr. Verdon a deposit of approximately $500.00
