Really professional and prompt. Rob answered the call immediately. Professional and courteous. Assessed my issue over the phone. Quickly determine he could not help, HOWEVER - gave me an alternate provider to help and that person is scheduled. It is a sign of a true professional to quickly assess and refer to someone else when you cannot help. I will be calling Rob again.

It was a little strange. He gave us the quote over email without seeing the storm door, and possibly he was envisioning something other than what he found when he got here. (He didn't ask questions over email.) He sighed heavily a few times as he started, and it seemed like he really didn't want to do the job, muttering complaints under his breath. He determined he needed to rebuild a bit of the doorway, which was fine; he left to get the right supplies and he came back with a helper. Also fine, except the whole time it seemed like he was unhappy. That's why the professionalism seemed lacking. In the end, we now have a storm door, so it's an okay result. It's not perfectly set, but it's okay. He said to call if we had any questions but after all that sighing we don't want to call him about, well, anything. It ended up being more than the quote ($300 vs $430) due to the extra thing he had to do. All in all a B- experience. Not terrible. Maybe hire him for something other than a storm door.

Rob really helped us out on a stupid lil job that no one else would help us with. He was a lifesaver!

Rob completed all the tasks in a timely manner. He even saved me $100.00 by fixing my old kitchen faucet. I thought I needed a new one but he offered to see what he could do to fix the old one. He also advised me on the condition of two smoke alarms. Instead of just changing batteries he let me know I need to buy a new alarm and suggested I get one that will detect carbon monoxide as well.

He talked to me in length about the issue and was the only one willing to do so given that I have a complicated issue to resolve with a partially complete job from another contractor.

Rob came by when he could and slowly put together the shed. the workmanship was excellent. He gets $75 per hour. he is thorough and does an excellent job.

Rob and a co-worker completed work within estimated time frame, despite temperatures in high 90's and even 100 degrees.

I spent $100 altogether. I bought a faucet and he installed it for me. He's actually my go-to person so he was very good. He comes in, he's clean, he's neat and he knows exactly what to do and he does it. It needed a part and he had the part with him which I really admire. I lean on him because I don't really have anybody else to do the handy work that I need.

Rob was professional in all aspects of this job. He understood what our needs were and came up with a cost appropriate solution. It turned out that I had to come down to Portland (I live in Seattle) prior to the agreed on installation date. I asked him if there was any chance he could fit it in while I was down. He wasn't sure if he could but was able to get back to me on the day I came down and told me he could fit it in at the end of the day. That worked and the job was done without my having to make another trip to Portland. I'm not sure of how his prices compare to others but it seemed good to me and very reasonable. He showed that he knew what he was doing and was efficient in his work. The work was done well but could have been improved if he had done a better job of sanding down the screw holes and was prepared to fill them in to make a fully smooth shelf. However, that was something I was able to do easily, given the cost, the work done was a good buy.

I think it went pretty well. The staff was fine but we had an issue with punctuality. They didn't leave the area very clean. They left some big chunks of cement and didn't cart away all the debris.

He did good work. He did what I asked him to do.

Sent request 6/15 for estimate on several home repair projects and received response he's fully booked for several weeks and to contact him if we'd still like to meet. 6/17 Sent follow-up letting him know we are still interested in scheduling a meeting and also sent floor plan for the patio/deck we're wanting to replace--number 1 project on our list of many. Received no response, so 6/20 sent another follow-up. On 6/23 received an email from Rob letting us know he has opening on Saturday (6/28) to meet and discuss our project. When we tried to nail down time, he has none available for the Saturday he said he had opening for in the first place and gave us Weds (7/2) as an alternative. When asked what his time availability, never heard from him again!

Rob did a beautiful job, and was really committed to following through promptly. I couldn't be more pleased, and my pup Maximus Optimus gives him rave reviews as well. A job well done!

Rob and his folks did a really nice job, the doorway wasn't remotely square and they fiddled till it worked - took them quite a while but there were good spirits with no complaints and the finished product looked just great. Rob and his crew are talented generalists.

I was not present during the job, my husband was. He said they were great and very efficient. They finished in around an hour, so we still have an hour of their time we may use in the future. I haven't been contacted by them to check up on this, but I plan on calling them soon to schedule them to hang some framed pictures for us. My husband said they were very professional and capable.

First of all, I was generally satisfied with Rob's professionalism. My dissatisfaction was primarily the cost of the job. When I received a quote for $600 for the job, I assumed that Rob would be there much of the day. I was informed that there was an extra cost for properly doing the work on a house my age involving dealing with the potential of lead paint. From what I could tell, a drop cloth was involved. The cost of the materials had to be small: caulk and wood sill replacement and paint primer. It took Rob less than 3 hours to do the job, which included leaving for some time to get a strip of wood. Once the caulk dried, I had to get more caulk to fill in gaps. I suppose I could have called him to return, but it didn't seem worth the hassle. $200 an hour for this job seems excessive. It was my bad however that I did not ask for more details up front about projected time it would take and projected cost of materials, so I did not address the issue at the job completion. I was seeking a handyman service that I can call upon in the future, and I'm still looking.

Everything went very well with no problems to note.

He advertised $249 to paint all day and he wanted $1000 for the job. I had all the supplies. The bid was ridiculously high.

The service turned out okay, it wasn't stellar. They sent out 3 people for an hour and 20 minutes. They did good work, but you have to clean up after them. It was a very rainy day, and they had to go in and out a lot, so they brought in a lot of stuff in. Everybody else I have used cleans up after them selves. They sent out 3 people and it would have been nice to know that in advance, as I was not expecting 3. It sounded like he was training.

Work was done very well. He had a problem showing up and completely missed one appointment. Needs a better system for keeping his appointments.
