+ -1 moreJanis gave me by far the best bid for the job, around $200. She had creative solutions for how to handle surface preparation. After trial and error, she eventually was able to match paint in a challenging room. This took place over a number of days. She also offered to take care of some odd jobs, which I appreciated at the time. What I did not understand was that, despite her initial bid, she was billing me by the hour. I was shocked to be given a final bill about 4 times higher than the bid that landed her the job in the first place. Though she's nice and resourceful, I am unlikely to hire her in the future. This billing snafu was, in my opinion, quite unprofessional.
