Steven James was, honest, reliable and prompt, as well as being kind and courteous. He had very high standards for work quality. Nice to my cats. I felt that I could trust him with my house and my animals. I don't often see painters who provide that high level of work.

Steven has done work for us on two separate occasions and each time we were thrilled with the results. He painted two bedrooms in our house and did such a beautiful job, we asked him back to paint our living room. Steven's attention to detail is second to none, and his pricing is very reasonable. I highly recommend Steven's work.

We spent three weeks evaluating other residential painting contractors in detail and selected James Painting out of a group of four other companies. We did on-site reviews of theirs' and the other competing contractors' completed jobs. We received only positive word of mouth from those prior clients (and the realtor who helped us buy the house three years earlier) regarding James Painting's quality of work and their total experience in general. I would use James Painting again in the future for home painting and will recommend their superior service to my friends and fellow co-workers. Steven and his assistant did an excellent job across the board. He was professional and executed a very organized and logical process to make the job go quick and smoothly for everyone. The trim detail work had really sharp / crisp paint edges (even on this old, bumpy original trim that had been painted many times before) and the main siding area coverage was uniform and thorough. There was NO over spray on any surrounding surfaces not to be painted. Their masking job was the best I could have imagined. He took advantage of the bright mornings in mid-June and arrived on site early and finished before it got too hot (too avoid too rapid of drying of the prep materials, primer, and paint) but you wouldn't know it because he and his assistant were VERY quiet and courteous in their work. Every day we arrived home after the course of their work had completed for the day, the work area (grounds) around the house looked as though they hadn't been there at all! If only all contractors were as professional...
