I chose to stay in my 919sq ft condo while the repairs were made. The contractors were concerned that I would find it uncomfortable. It was, but I would still stay if (God forbid) my ceiling would have to be repaired again. As I said in the description above, the crews that came to my condo were very considerate, and very careful with my furniture and belongings. Each team leader explained each step of the process and answered my many, many questions. These crews took pride in their work and the finished product shows it. When it came time to paint my ceiling, I asked what color they were going to use. They answered, the original light tan color. I explained that I had some white ceiling paint and one of my projects was to paint my ceiling white. Would they be able to substitute white for the light tan? Yes! They did! You cannot see even a seam where the 10ft x 12ft hole in my ceiling had been! That ceiling is beautiful!
Description of Work: I live in a 3 story condo building. My upstairs neighbor's kitchen faucet leaked. He suffered minor damage, but it created a large hole in my kitchen and living room ceiling. J R Johnson was called in to repair the damage and replace my ceiling. I now have a beautiful ceiling! Over the weeks that the repairs were effected, two crews of two men came to my condo. In each case, the crews were VERY careful and respectful of my furniture and belongings. In each case, the crews arrived exactly on time. Each crew leader explained every step they were taking and why. At the end of work day, both work crews carefully swept and vacuumed the area they were working in, and made sure their tools were collected and stacked. I was VERY impressed with both work crews. The work on my ceiling will be covered by insurance and I have not seen an estimate of cost yet. I have already recommended this company to others.

Description of Work: this was for a insurance claim, good service on the estimate and up front work with the insurance company but when the project start date arrived they were totally unprepared and unprofessional, the work took twice as long as it needed to and they damaged furniture during the move out/move in phase.
