Description of Work: Re-roofed my 1-level duplex; very quick, efficient and quality work and materials used. More recently, came back to repair some minor damage from where a neighbor's tree fell against the side of the house; again very responsive and informative about what needed to be done and why.

+ -1 moreI told him he's the only roofer on speed dial because it seems like we've had to use him so many times. He is so honest and just great. I would use him again the future, however I hope I don't need to.
Description of Work: We had problems with our house leaking so J. Pelham Enterprises came in and finished up someone else's botched roofing job. I think we've used him every year since 2005 for leaking problems. The last time we used him was this year to replace four skylights and waterproof them. He also works on remodeling jobs.

+ -1 moreHe came out, did an estimate, and never called back. I've worked with him before and even referred him to friends for great work at a reasonable price. But his follow up was non-existent. My neighbor had the same experience with a siding job. Too bad, he was once great. I can understand if he doesn't want to do the work, but I think we're worth the basic courtesy of a call back.
Description of Work: This was to fix a leak where someone else had improperly installed roof vents.

+ -1 moreI was very impressed with John Pelham's professional knowledge of my roof's needs. He initiated work on the day scheduled and finished in the time span agreed on. His bit estimate was complete, accurate, and very reasonable. Daily cleanup was excellent. The workmanship of his crew was excellent.
Description of Work: They removed two layers of cedar shakes and installed composite, Presidential shingles on approximately 4200 sq. ft. of roof. Also, they installed appropriate metal work, plumbing flashings, etc..

Description of Work: John Pelham took on the job of finishing a roofing job done by another contractor who had completely botched the job. Mr. Pelham was thorough in his analysis of how to remedy the botched job and finish it right. We were very pleased with his work and regretted not calling on him in the first place. This work occurred in 2003.
