A big project that also needed to be done before our second child was born, we were happy to have Jon Orcutt working on it from the start! He was thorough in his estimate, very realistic about the time it would take, and careful to work within our budget. We were able to work through him to get countertop and tiling figured out; the most fun was how we had some shelves undecided and he and his team were excited about their ideas for solutions there, that didn't cost extra and used materials that would have been thrown away anyhow. Looking forward to the next project we'll work with him on.

Jon and his crew did a great job. We're extremely pleased with the end result, and I'd give him five stars on the process too. He listened, he communicated, and when--inevitably--the schedule changed or a technical hurdle presented itself, he worked with us to find a workable solution. He presented a detailed prospectus of work to be performed, and checked in at several points along the way, which prevented unpleasant surprises later. The remodel was extensive and involved rough and finish carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, all of which Jon handles expertly. We of course significantly exceeded the original budget, like most major construction projects do, but almost all because of scope creep on our end. Jon and the people working with him were all very pleasant and extremely considerate, which was crucial because they were basically housemates during the months the kitchen remodel was underway. Jon was great about minimizing the time we were without a sink and stove, and he was phenomenal when it came to cleaning up at the end of each workday. I have absolutely no regrets, and would enthusiastically recommend him to others.

I was blown away by what a great job Jon and his partner die on the wall. First of all I needed the project done quickly. Everyone else was only available months out. Second, I felt like I was working with older master craftsmen. Jon and his partner lined up all the doors perfectly. They lined up the door knobs perfectly. On top of it they were super nice and I have already asked them to come back and do another project. I have no idea how the stars aligned that they were available, but I am so happy they put in our wall.

I highly recommend Jon. I hired many people for my remodel and Jon was, by far, the most professional person on the entire job. His bid is detailed, his prices, while not the lowest, are very reasonable and fair, he is organized and clean, clearly communicated when he would and would not be working on my job, and, most important of all, the quality of his work is superior. I look forward to working with Jon again!!! Such a smooth transaction and no worries at all. :-)

J. Orcutt Remodelling did a great job. Jon and his assistant even used some of the leftover wood to create a shelf unit for us. It is nice to say that their work exceeded our expectations, which is a rarity these days. We would highly recommend contacting J. Orcutt Remodelling for work.
