They're very precise in their measuring. It's kind of an unique product, nobody else does them. It's holding up pretty well.

I called Indow window for services, you must use one of there contractors it took four days for a return phone call from their recommended contractor. I was not pleased about the time delay, all services after that have been timely. It takes about three weeks from time of ordering to install date.

We ordered these windows for our second story windows to begin with since that is where we have the most draft. They were installed yesterday afternoon and of course I can't test for how well they insulate since it has been warm (at least not cold) but it was windy and we didn't feel any draft upstairs in our master bedroom. An added benefit (and worth the cost for the bedroom!) is they block out quite a bit of sound. Our windows are single pane windows from the 1920s so we constantly heard outside noise at night. Last night I didn't hear any outside noise...I slept like a baby!
They fit perfectly in the window sill and you can't even tell there in since they match the color of our window trim. Cooper had all six installed within 30 minutes and they are easy to remove, clean and reinstall.
Thanks so much, now we can keep the charm of our old windows without the problems!
Update January 2013 - The windows are working perfectly, I couldn't imagine what our secord floor would feel like without these windows. Highly recommended.

I have an older home with the original single pane windows (and a lot of them). Replacing them all would have been very expensive so in my search for alternatives I can across Indow Windows. You have to go through Neil Kelly, which was fine. All they do is consult and collect funds. I was originally thinking about doing all of my windows, but during the consult it was recommend to focus on specific problem areas first. I elected to do the upstairs since it can become very hot in the summer and cold during the winter despite having a newer AC/furnace.
The Indow Window guy showed up on time to do the laser measurements of the windows which took about an hour. A couple weeks later and a few re-schedules they were ready to be installed. Again, they showed up on time and were very courteous. The install took about an hour and a half. The windows look great and blend nicely with the frame. Now that I've had them for a week I can definitely say they are performing as advertised.
There was usually a good 10 degree difference that you could feel as your climbed/descended the stairs. Now there is virtually no difference or it's very slight. I have a thermometer on both floors and the difference between the two is usually 5 degrees or less. Noise reduction is probably about 20%-30%, although living on a busy street doesn't help.
I'd recommend this solution for those who have older homes that want to keep the same look without spending a fortune.

We have a 1923 home. Some of the windows in the house are very old single pain windows. They look nice, but don't insulate worth anything. We looked at having new windows installed, but the expensive and the hassle that would be involved in getting the old windows out and new ones in worried us.
Indow windows were the perfect solution. They allowed us to keep our original windows, but improve their performance without breaking the bank. The look great. People who come over don't even realize they are there unless we point it out.
We got double pain benefits without having to worry about tearing out windows and getting new ones installed right. We got to keep our original multi-pane windows. We coudln't be happier.
