Description of Work: Until this year, Mr. Huskey had been cleaning my windows and screens once or twice yearly, and we were always totally pleased with his service. Until his last job in 2011, he was polite, professional, reasonable, and his work was excellent. In fact, I was the person that initially put him and his business onto Angie's List. During his last job in 2011, when he came into the kitchen he saw a picture of President Obama, Mrs. Obama and their two daughters on my kitchen cupboard, and he asked in a challenging tone why I had that picture hung on my cupboard. I responded that considering his tone, I thought it would be best if we did not talk politics, He muttered something, went outside and was talking on his cell phone. He rushed through washing the remaining windows, on and off the cell phone, and then said he didn't have time to do the screens, but still charged me for the windows and screens. I was, by then, hesitant to argue with him, and just paid the full price. I was and still am very sorry to lose Mr. Huskey because for years he had provided me with such reasonable and excellent service, but I am an older woman, and no longer prepared to encournter conflict with my service providers.

Description of Work: Jim Huskey arrived promptly at 9am,proceeded to make every window (including basement and garage door) sparkle like new, made absolutely no mess and left 3 hours later after very quietly and efficiently doing an excellent job. At this very moment i am looking out my windows and its like there is no glass--that clear. About a year and a half ago Jim Huskey performed his window magic here and I will continue to utilize his service.

Description of Work: Jim cleaned the windows of our two-story bungalow, including the basement, inside and out. Jim has cleaned our windows many times over the past 15 years. He always does a thorough job, is hard-working, reliable, and punctual. He is careful with our landscaping and furniture.

+ -1 moreJim Huskey arrived as promised and did a fine job of washing the windows, which took a few days since we have a large house with over 50 windows. I felt his price was fair and he did the job well and in a timely manner. I was glad that he didn't use high pressure washers or toxic chemicals. I was not displeased with his window washing work at all, but found out after he left that he had spent quite a bit of time conversing with our 18-year-old regarding the upcoming presidential election and her voting choices, trying to persuade her to vote for his candidate (Ron Paul), and insinuating that her choice (Obama) was due to race-driven guilt. She and I both found this unprofessional on his part.
Description of Work: Washed windows and storm windows inside and out, by hand, using soap and water, no high pressure hoses.

+ -1 moreMr. Huskey arrived the same day I left a message on his telephone since he was in the neighborhood when he received the call. Professional, good communication. We did a walk-around both inside and outside my home, and he left his business card with an estimate of $160. That was my third estimate and at least $100 less than 2 others. Since he had worked for me in the past and did a good job, I accepted his bid and he set a date to do the job within 10 days. He arrived with his equipment, is unobtrusive when working inside and out, and did an absolutely gorgeous job. Hand brushed each screen with soapy solution, rinsed with the hose, uses a special solution on the windows followed with a squeegee. There was not one spot left on any window. Most of my windows are storm types, so each has to be disassembled and reassembled, so one window actually has 4 sides plus a screen. Not an easy job--I know because I have attempted to do it myself. He spent almost 3 hours, working quietly.
Description of Work: Mr. Huskey washed inside and outside including screens and inner storm windows--11 complicated windows; 4 large ones, each with 2 screened side windows. He removed and cleaned 8 screens that are both difficult to remove and reinstall, and including the side windows, he washed 15 windows inside and out. He also assisted me replacing the curtain racks. This is the second time he has cleaned my windows--the first was a few years ago, and at that time I hired him to only clean the outside of the 11 windows.
