Description of Work: We hired Hunt Painting because we knew one of their estimators and he spoke well of the company. Unfortunately, in the first day, the painters broke our wedding arbor and garden trellises, damaged a small tree growing in our yard (by dumping the broken arbor on it) and trampled vegetable plants. The crew did not do nearly all the required and recommended prep work and had to be told by the estimator and an owner to do additional prep. The wall on our front porch and the front door continue to bubble and peel over a year later. We have friends who spent far less and got a superior job. We are so disappointed that we spent so much on such a shoddy job that will take additional funds to repair. Steer clear of these folks.

Description of Work: Hunt power-washed, prepped and painted the exterior of my home (two story). From the first contact until the end of the job everyone was professional, prompt, and did a lovely job. I've had several compliments on the work they did.

+ -1 moreBill Hunt is an extremely affable guy, and his crews are professionals. I have a house that was build in 1912, and in need of an exterior paint job. The guys showed up every day on time, they worked extremely hard, and they went the extra mile with every detail to ensure I got the highest quality paint job. They prepped everything just right, including having a few areas burned off on the southern exposure side of the house to ensure the new paint would adhere properly and stand up to the sun for years. Every single worker was polite and courteous. They didn't play music, talk loudly, or curse -- which my neighbors in densely populated inner southeast Portland commented on and appreciated. At the end of each day, they left everything very clean which is pretty amazing considering they were scraping and sanding thousands of little pieces of paint off the house every day. The exterior paint job was done 2 or 3 years ago. I just added a small patio cover to the back of my house. The contractors who bid on the project gave me unsolicited comments on what a tremendous paint job I had, and other neighbors have done the same. Bill Hunt happily sent 2 guys out to paint the patio cover for me so it would match the house. Once again, these guys were efficient, proficient, and nice as can be. In sum, if you just want somebody to slap some paint on your house call the college kids. If you love your house and are interested in quality work, call Bill Hunt.

Description of Work: Hunt did an excellent job, finished on-time, estimated the time and cost accurately, and charged a fair price. I found them to be extremely professional and responsive regarding issues with our large older home, and I plan to use them again.

+ -1 moreI saw a house that was painted very well, and found out that it was done by Hunt's Painting. They were very good. They were so thorough, detailed and hard working. The bid was good. I looked at other people's painting, and went to their houses. The paint jobs they did were so much more superior to any other that there was no comparison. The exterior of the house and the deck was a great price!
Description of Work: I used Hunt Painting to paint the exterior of my home and my deck.

+ -1 moreIt went very well. I thought the price was high, but checked around and it now seems it was average. The work was top notch and they were done within a couple of days. They didn't break anything or make a mess and I had them access my home when I was not there. They were also careful to not let my dog out.
Description of Work: I had a section of my exterior shingle that needed to be stained, and I had my entire house (1800 square feet) painted inside including ceilings and baseboards.

Description of Work: Hunt Painting contracted with Neal Harris Construction, to replace some siding, on the south side of our house. Harris did a great job, very pleased. Hunt then painted the outside, very professional. We are very pleased with the job. Would recommend them to anyone who needs painting. They quoted one price and it never varied. They showed up when they said they would and the job was done in two days.

+ -1 moreTHE HUNT PAINTING CREW WAS AMAZING. A LARGE CREW CAME AND GOT ALL OF THE PAINTING DONE IN THREE DAYS...WHICH WAS NICE BECAUSE WE HAD HAD DELAYS DUE TO WEATHER. THE OWNER CAME AND INSPECTED THE JOB AND WENT OVER EVERYTHING WITH ME BEFORE I WAS ASKED FOR PAYMENT.
Description of Work: THE ENTIRE EXTERIOR OF MY HOME WAS PAINTED BY THE HUNT PAINTING CREW. THE SIDING, WINDOW FRAMES, GARAGE DOORS, FRONT DOOR AND ALL OF THE TRIM WAS PAINTED.
