The prior owners of our home had a patio enclosure/sun room built on the back of the house. While it looked attractive, it turned out to actually be an albatross: in the summer it was like sitting in a parked car in 100-degree weather with the windows rolled up; when it rained, water leaked in, creating puddles. Over time, the floor tiles started to peel and there was a moldy smell. Discovering the source of the leak and plugging it would have been a band-aid solution: we would still be stuck with a rotted-out floor and rotting wood. We needed it dismantled, which Mr. Hett did efficiently, promptly, and with respect to the integrity of the house. He completed the project within the estimated timeline and the final cost was very close to the initial estimate. At one point during the process, it became very difficult to remove the deck framing due to the way it had been built. It seemed almost impossible to take apart. This was a point where someone might have given up, but Mr. Hett persisted until he discovered the most efficient way to remove it, which he did with great ability. He kept his work area very clean and orderly and the final clean-up was thorough. He was very kind, and he was very nice to our two kids, who watched the whole process from inside the house.
