HEIBERG GARBAGE & RECYCLING

I have several problems with Heiberg, not the least of which is the fact that we have no choice who collects our garbage and recycling. With no competition there is little reason for Heiberg to improve their service. They missed several pick-ups due to poor weather recently, that is understandable, however they still charged the same amount and made no effort to make extra pickups when the weather improved. I would like to be paid when I do not work. When I called the office to express my concerns the owner started complaining to me! "We had bad weather, the city sets the rates, recycling money is down, poor me!" is what he said. I wish I had another choice and would like to know if there is another alternative for trash collection.

Called them up. Quoted 125 drop fee for any sized bin + 85/ton. They dropped off as scheduled but put it in the wrong place. They were back first thing to relocate the next morning with no hassle. Picked up bin as schedule 3 days later.
