Guaranteed Upholstery

I took it to Guaranteed. They quoted me a very reasonable price and said the work would be done in less than a week. In fact, it was done in about 3 days, and the quality of the work was very good. I will use them again.

The reupholstering was done well and at a reasonable price. Unlike other upholsterers I talked to, they were willing to pick up the chairs when they were ready to work on them, rather than having them hanging around their shop. I got the chairs back in less than the promised two weeks. Couldn't be more pleased.

We couldn’t be more pleased. It was absolutely excellent work. It was done much faster than they had originally estimated. I have never seen better upholstery in my life.

After I picked out the desired fabric they came back the next day and hauled it off. It took about a month. Turned out the cushion material, which I had thought was worth saving, was shot, which added an extra $100 to the bid. When they brought it back it was perfect. It looked like the high-end piece of furniture it must have been when new. Solid, great support, everything was fit and right. While I gave them a B on price it was just because it hurt a bit. The work was worth it. I would recommend them without hesitation. They're a couple who do all the work themselves, but they could have used a burly helper to help wrestle it into the house. That couch will certainly outlast me.

Tried by phone a couple times to set up an appointment to bring in the futon. They do have voicemail, but I neglected to leave a message. On the third try, I got through to the owner, and I'm glad I did. We set up a time to drop off the futon the following day. When I dropped it off, the owner looked it over, gave me a cost estimate and receipt for the futon and described how the repair would be done (hand-sewn), and told me it would be ready in a couple hours. I didn't have time to come back, so set up a time to come back the following day. When I returned, the futon was ready and the cost was as quoted. The repair was expertly done. Based on my experience, I would recommend Guaranteed Upholstery for any fabric repair. Not only that, but they are both cordial and professional. The only negative is not a major one in my book: having to place a couple calls before getting through to someone. Very minor, and worth placing the extra calls for the excellent service they provide.

Originally we brought them a small child's chair to be recovered. We mentioned we had an old love seat and chair that had belonged to my husband's mother that we would want re-upholstered some day. Scott & his wife thought it would be cheaper if we recovered the love seat and chair and used extra material for the little chair. They came to our house with material samples (and recommended materials also) and waited patiently while we chose.They brought the finished chairs back to our house in 2 weeks as promised and the finished product was beautiful! We will definitely use them again.

This is our second time around with Guaranteed Upholstery. They are a two person team but a great one. Beside being very fine persons and a pleasure with whom to deal, they are excellent professionals with a better than normal grasp of what it takes to restore older furniture. In fact, the two pieces they did for us made the furniture look way better than when we bought it new. This time around, they are repairing one of our couches. Our two cats damaged it with their claws. Mi and Scott came to our house, inspected the couch, told us how much it would cost and toted the couch off to their facility for repair. They promised the couch back within two weeks. If I had wanted it sooner, I am sure they would have complied. I would recommend them to my closest friends and family.
