+ 0 moreI called them on a Tuesday to see if there was any way they could clean up and composte our front, side and back yard by Saturday because we were having an open house.Not only did they manage to get it done on time but made several trips to complete the job in between rain showers. It looked excellent

+ 0 moreCraig and his team arrived in the morning and worked diligently to clean the place up. It would be an understatement to say they did a fabulous job. Not only were the atomic weeds removed, but all of the beds were tidied up, bark dust was spread and not a leaf or stick remained. The impact was enough that my house was appraised at $8000 more after they were done, even in this downturn in the real estate market. I guess it helps when you can actually see there is a house behind all the foliage. Subsequently, I've had them back to clean up another flower bed, remove some small trees and help get my lawn back in shape. Craig shows up when he says and is flexible about additional work to be done. Last time he was at my house to remove trees, a sprinkler pipe was leaking and Craig immediately found that the sprinkler company personnel had failed to glue one of the pipes. He ran to Home Depot, picked up parts and fixed it on the spot. That saved me time, money and a huge water bill, not to mention preventing a muddy mess in the yard. In addition, Craig is happy to answer questions, give advice on lawn care and landscaping maintenance so that I can keep things looking great. I can't say enough about how much I appreciate their incredible work.
Description of Work: Ground Up Services was hired on the recommendation of my landscape designer, to remove a horrible overgrown mess that used to be my yard. The place looked like the Boo Radley house from To Kill A Mockingbird. We had a trumpet vine that covered the front of the house, junipers choking out Japanese maples, holly, Oregon grape (why anyone would plant that stuff is beyond me!), as well as assorted weeds, perennials gone amok, and a lawn trying very hard to die. I was afraid they would take one look and flee in horror.

+ -1 moreVERY PROFESSIONAL AND HELPFUL FROM FIRST TO LAST. MOVED AND REPLANTED 2 ROSE BUSHES WITH MINIMAL EXTRA CHARGE AND VERY WILLINGLY. CALLED BACK AFTERWARDS TO CHECK THE BUSHES WERE DOING OK.
Description of Work: CLEANED OUT AND TILLED AN AREA ALONG 2 FENCES, ADDED SOIL AND PLANTED 17 ARBORVITAE BUSHES.
