I wasn't a priority at first. The leak was slow enough that I could turn the water on a few hours a day, to get some things done, and then turn it off over night. But, once I dug out the leak the hole would fill up with water. I was afraid the hole would cave in and I would have to dig it out again. When I was able to explain this to the plumber, he gave me a higher priority, and the work was done in a timely manner.
Description of Work: I dug out the water supply leak. He replaced the first three feet of pvc pipe that included three elbows. The third elbow from the water meter was the one with a leak. I also had my front faucet replaced. It took another visit from the plumber the following day. It was difficult to remove, since the brick had been install too tightly around the faucet. The cost was $90 per hour. He had a helper and they got right to work and were efficient. Total cost for the water supply repair and faucet was $412. I put the landscaping back together on my own.
