First a little background. I live on the curve of the street on top of a hill with a creek behind me that wraps around to the side of my property. Over the years I noticed that some of the ground about five feet from the drop-off to the creek, had sunk about two to three feet, plants & all. One tree about ten feet from the creek started to lean last year & is now horizontal about three feet above the ground. I have several retaining walls and I was concerned that they might be at risk (Read that as very worried!). I was extremely impressed with this company. When I first called I had to leave a message. Someone got back to me within a couple of hours. I was told that he would do some research on the geology of my area before he came out, and would spend one to two hours examining my property. When he was called away to another job he arranged for Charlie Clough, a Senior Engineer, to come out in his place. Charlie kept the original appointment & he was prompt. He was very easy to talk to as he examined the slope of my land and listened to my concerns. His conclusion was that what was going on was normal and that I didn't need to be concerned. He explained what was happening, what I could expect in the future, and patiently answered all my questions in language I could understand. He was here well over an hour and when I asked him what the charge would be, he told me there was no charge. I couldn't believe it. Another company I had called was less qualified and wanted over $200 just to come out. By the way, one or two days later I received a call from another engineer at GeoDesign. He wanted to make sure that someone had returned my original call. Now that is service! I highly recommend GeoDesign.
Description of Work: This company does geological engineering. They evaluate the landscape, make suggestions to mitigate problematic areas, and rework the landscape as needed. In my case Charlie reviewed the areas of my concern, explained what was going on, and told me there was no need to make any changes.
