Pleasant until the last mile!
Description of Work: The owner Pat preformed the pre set-up for my new gas unit (logs). I had the unit on site and positioned a few inches from the final hook up. Therefore, all he needed to do was put vent pipe thru wall and cap on the outer wall. The gas to the unit was done by the installer of my new water heater as it was a completely new hook up from the gas company. Anyway a few days later the gas line inspected and installed to the unit was ready for Patrick's final hook up. It just entailed (per Patrick) hooking the gas to the unit, showing me how to operate it and sign off (paperwork) using the master permit from the gas install. Unfortunately, after I paid him and expected to see him back for this 10 min finish, he has disappeared. Was lucky enough to finally reach him after almost 2 weeks and he promised to stop by that evening or first thing in the morning. He never showed. I have spent over a month and at least 20-25 calls begging with no response. Now I have to report him to CBC.
