When Mr. Roberts and his son finally did arrive to install my stove, it was a Friday. I sacrificed an entire workday for this. And yet, eight hours was not enough. They were late. And then, Mr. Roberts did not have all the parts he required. And then, his daughter called, and her car had stalled, and he needed to drive to Beaverton (from where I was in East county) to pick her up. And so, he left his son at my house, drove to Beaverton at about 4:00 on a Friday afternoon in rush hour traffic, picked up parts, and returned. They were there until about 6:30. Were they done? Oh, no. Bored, his son decided to reinstall my microwave. Didn't like the way it was. The next day, they continued on. Now, it should not take two people 16 hours to run gas pipe 30 feet. They also reinstalled tubing to the ice maker on the fridge, which had been incorrectly installed with plastic tubing. All they had to do was connect copper tubing instead of plastic. Valve was there; hole was drilled; etc. They wanted to charge me the full fee. I was able to talk them into a 50% fee for the microwave installation, since I didn't ask them to do it in the first place. Personally, I think they owe me for the day I lost. Sheesh. Buy your daughter AAA.
Description of Work: Gary and his son were contacted to install a gas stove. The store I bought the stove from recommended them. Since the stove I bought was not in stock at the time I bought it, they told me they would call when it was in and have Mr. Roberts contact me. I waited...and waited... I finally called the store after a month, and they were surprised I had not heard from Mr. Roberts, as the stove had been in their warehouse for over two weeks. So I called Mr. Roberts, and we set up a time. He no-showed. I called the store and said, "What's the deal, and is this guy a flake, or what?" They assured me that they had worked with him for years, and he was quite reliable, and they would contact him, etc, etc, etc. Since I have bought appliances from them for years, and have a level of trust in the store, I didn't fold at that point. I should have.

Gary and Jason did great work installing all the appliances and fixtures, but the range hood gave them some difficulty. Still, they were very careful not to damage anything, and the result was beautiful. Everything looks good, and even better, it all works! They were professional, knowledgeable, and pleasant to work with.
Description of Work: They installed new kitchen appliances, including an island range hood, and kitchen lighting. They also plumbed and installed all the sinks in the house.
