Gary’s VACUFLO

My husband and I recently moved to a home which was pre-plumbed for a Gary's Vacuflow System and I wanted to have system installed. I had a similar central vac system from Gary's in a previous home, but this time I wanted the hide-a-hose system. Curt, one of the sales reps came to give me a quote and explain the newer system to me. He took the time to understand what I wanted and explained the options that were available. When I was ready, I phoned to schedule the install. Pete, the installer arrived and took his time as well explaining what needed to be done and how he was going to proceed. From the onset he never promised that it would take just a particular amount of time, but that each job was slightly different based on what he might find along the way. As it turned out it was several days for the complete install. Each day he arrived exactly at the time he indicated and communicate when necessary via phone and text messages to keep me informed. He was meticulous as he moved from one thing to another, in the crawl space and in the attic to connect fittings, as was necessary. He didn't rush and took his time to make sure everything was done properly. Before he left, he made sure I understood how the system worked, as well as making sure my home was left clean from cutting into drywall and drilling when necessary, which was minimal. Pete re-textured the small area of drywall and re- painted the area he was working on. One would never know that anything was done. I couldn't be happier. It was a pleasure working with Gary' Vacuflow from start to finish including speaking to the scheduler Jennifer.

Arrived when expected cleaned clog and vacuum unit to my satisfaction.

He quickly found the problem (blockage of toys and do hair in the bend) and only charged me for the simple service (instead of full inspection). So efficient, professional and easy!

I hired Gary's to clean and service our Beem Classic III central vacuum system. Gary's came out and told us that our unit was too old and did not have enough suction to service. They said it would not be worth it, and they charged me $103 for that information. Also, they would be happy to sell us a brand-new system for $1050. I then took my system off-the-wall and brought it to Stark's. Starks serviced our system within a weeks time and it now runs as good as new. I feel like I got scammed at Gary's. I gave customer service every opportunity to make it right but Gary's customer service agent (scheduler) decided to be snarky rather then service a customer. I feel like I got scammed and ripped off at Gary's. They will say that I never got back to them with the model number so they could have the propper filter. This is true, but they didnt even try to clean or service our unit. Although I did send a clear picture of my unit with my original request for service, so they should have had everything the needed. Installation went well. Have no complaints.

I was able to get a timely appointment for the salesperson to come to my home to check out the existing system and give me a price for the installation of the hose. As the installation was going to be a bit tricky, he spent about an hour with me looking over the possibilities inside my home as well as in the garage where the main vacuum was already in place. We then scheduled for the technician, Pete, to come out the following week. He arrived at 8 a.m. sharp and we walked through what the whole installation process might look like, as he had to open up some panels in the wall to check what was already in the spaces where he planned to put the Hide-A-Hose and the connections to the vacuum in the garage. He cut out only 3 small panels to determine the location and do the work, cleaning up all the dust as he went along, and closed them all up when he finished. There was far less dust, clutter, and disturbance than I had anticipated. He cleaned up in the garage as well as he did inside the house. Pete checked in with me during every step of the process to make sure everything looked OK, including making sure the hose he installed was long enough to reach everywhere and going through the operations procedure with me to be sure I knew how to do it. Not only was he extremely competent, friendly, and polite, he made every effort possible to be sure I was satisfied. I would recommend him highly.

Very professional, on time, considerate and courteous. When the vacuum head I was given turned out to be too noisy, I was able to exchange for an older model that was great. I also got a refund for the difference in cost. I would definitely use them again if I purchased a new home.

After analyzing it, we determined we needed a new main system which they installed. We also bought a second hose and a new rug rat. All went well.

Had two contacts with this company. The first to look at my old system and give me advice and the second to install a new vacuflo power unit. I was very pleased with all my contacts with this company. They were gave me an estimate for the new unit that was right on target with the final cost. The technician arrived on time and kept me informed, answered all my questions and showed me how to use the new unit.

Outstanding...with the older system I have in the home in which I recently moved, I went there expecting to have to buy a new head unit knowing the unit that came with the home was long ago discontinued. Also, when I moved in, there were no instructions on the system. The technician quickly found something jamming the entire system and repaired it at no cost. Ultimately I know I will need to get a new head unit, and I will go back to Gary's Vacuflow to get it.

I have always had great service from this company, beginning when we had our system installed over 15 years ago. The are very customer oriented and responsive, and I love my vacuum system.

They arrived on time, were very professional and did a good work. I had no problems with them.

I moved into my house 3 years ago. I have not been impressed with my Vacuflo system. I came across a business card from Gary's that I picked up at the Street of Dreams so I gave them a call after looking them up on the internet. I call to ask them about their 20 point checkup system as the price was not listed on the internet. The receptionist asked for my name and number and said someone would call me back. Curt called and after talking to him and telling him my circumstances he offered suggestions and also told me that I could bring in my hose and head and have them checked out at the shop to see what the problem is with them. I followed Curt's suggestions and it worked. It is like I have a brand new vacuum. I am really impressed with Curt. He is doing a fabulous job representing his company and saving me some of my hard earned money!

The technician was on time and did a great job. Not sure I needed a new turbo cat but the one from the last owner was so full of hair and yuck that I wanted it gone!

We recently moved from a single story home (that had a central vacuum installed upon construction) to a home that has seven levels that need vacuuming! I was considering buying a vacuum cleaner for each floor, but that would have still involved emptying or changing bags often and my vacuum cleaner stirred up dust that aggravated my allergies. I also have minimal storage, so a vac for each floor was out of the question. I didn't realize how much I was going to miss my central vac. Thank goodness for Pete, the installation specialist, at Gary's Vacuflo! Other companies that came out to give us a bid said that they couldn't figure out a way to install complete coverage to my home because of the many eight inch thick concrete walls that I have. Pete worked hard and made it happen! He did a marvelous job. Pete was professional, neat and trustworthy. I love my central vac. It does a fantastic job. The motor is in the garage and so is the noise. There is no exhaust of air next to the vacuum head like a regular cleaner, so my allergies are no longer a problem.

It was a very pleasant experience. I brought the hose in and Dave helped me immediately. He repaired the handle and electric panel while I waited. In addition, he took the time to pull the hose cover all the way over the hose and replace the ties. He (and the other staff on duty) were very thorough, friendly and knowledgable. After the hose was fixed, he ensured that all of the information was accurate in the computer system, showed me how to clean the central vac filter and even gave me a free brush to clean the filter! He even carried the hose out to the car for me. You don't find service like this at very many places. Genuine. Honest. Knowledgeable. I full intend to use thier services again and would recommend them wholeheartedly to anybody looking for great, friendly service!

I called and scheduled service when our vacuum cleaner suddenly stopped having enough suction. They were booking about a week out. I scheduled a late morning arrival window. The serviceman called ten minutes after the window had passed to say he would be there in a about an hour. It made no difference to me that day, so I didn't care. He did show up under an hour later, explaining that the booking person had tried to pack too much in, with an earlier appointment on a house boat in quite far from where I live. He was very friendly and chatty, explaining what he was doing, which included listening for leaks, checking the vac pans and clearing a blockage in one, checking the suction pressure from the different wall valves, and determining where there was a blockage. He brought in a vacuum unit that he used to free the blockage from my system. He asked if I wanted the twenty point service, which wouldn't cost a whole lot more than the service he'd already performed, if he did it right then. It included a full cleaning of my system (sending these little cloth things through all the valves and cleaning the vacuum unit in the garage), checking the vacuum itself, and cleaning and repairing the powerhead attachment (badly needed). He showed me how to clean the powerhead again myself. The total time was relatively quick and the serviceman was a nice guy. He said it was a great family business (Gary is his grandfather), and chatted about the company, and his own business. Overall I was happy with everything, and I have a vacuum cleaner that really works again.

Valery was right on time, very courteous, friendly, went right to work, showed me how it all worked and carried away all packaging, etc. I love my Vacuflo!

The young man who came out was very knowledgable and courteous. I bought a "sock" for the hose and he was nice enough to put it on for me.

The whole operation went very well, from the estimator, to the lady that scheduled the installation, and the installation it self. The installer was very careful not to make a big mess and he cleaned up teh areas when he was finished. The installation was completed in one day and looks very professional. It is better than I had expected. He had some great ideas on how to best hide the pipes.

Both installs were fantastic. The more recent one in my townhouse was very impressive. It looked impossible to get the vacuum plumbing where it needed to go. The installer did so in a reasonable amount of time and it looks fantastic. These guys know their stuff and do a great job. When/if I move again, I will absolutely have them install another Vacuflo system for me.

We have friends that have this system and they were very pleased with their system. So we called Vacuflo on their recommendation and the sales person, Lou, came out the same day to give us an estimate. We did have a little trouble scheduling the install, but once we overcame that hurdle, the installation went smoothly and timely. Very happy with the system after almost a month of use.

Excellent. Very responsive. The salesman came out right away after we called them. Brent was very pleasant, knowledgeable, and not a pushy salesman. He gave us an estimate which we felt was very reasonable for what we were looking for. We called the company after deciding that Vacuflo was the company we wished to do business with. Our work was scheduled within a few days and Pete arrived right on time do the work on the date of installation. Pete was very competent, honest and efficient and friendly.

Staff was very courteous on the phone and readily scheduled my appointment. A salesman came to my house to discuss what it would entail, options for the vacuum and give an estimate. I was able to schedule to have it installed within a week. The 2 men who came to do the work were very courteous, thorough and did a great job . They needed to remove some dry wall in my garage, but completely patched it in a professional manner. They cleaned up after themselves and except for my new vacuum, would never know that they had been there. As the installers were getting ready to leave, the salesman also returned to make sure I was satisfied with the job and if I had any questions. The estimate equaled what I ended up being charged.
