Description of Work: Extremely good professional quality painters. They painted the exterior of an older three story wood-sided house in a careful and meticulous manner. The price was at the high end of the bids received, but the extra cost was represented by their quality and professionalism

 + -1 moreA couple days after we still hadn't received anything. Contacted him via e-mail and got a reply, a day later, saying that he was sorry and would provide the estimate that evening. Never did. Contacted him again a few days later. Had no reply so far. Isn't it more honest to send an e-mail saying that he isn't able to provide the service? Unprofessional.
Description of Work: Showed up on date and time scheduled for estimate of job to be done, wallpaper hanging. Said he would send estimate via e-mail.

Description of Work: The owner, Gesher, has "old world" expectations and skills, in short he is a perfectionist. He did an amazing job installing a delicate grass cloth wallpaper in an entry way, hall, and staircase. Gesher also has a gifted sense for color; he made better and more subtle recommendations than the decorator I consulted. His work was so exceptional that I had him return to do additional projects-living and dining room, bathroom, and bedrooms. In addition, his faux painting is great. Because he did several different projects for me, I cannot actually remember the individual charges or the total. But he is an artist as well as a fine professional. You could get cheaper, but NEVER BETTER! Wish him the best and intend to use him again.

 + 0 moreThe work they did was of five star qualities. They had European expertise and training. They had creative, imaginative solutions to challenging spaces. They were also cordial, efficient and conscientious.
Description of Work: I used Euro Fax about 9 months ago for interior painting of 4 or 5 rooms and wall papered a hallway.

Description of Work: Repair damage to risers by floor refinisher who sanded the risers; Paint raisers for oak stairs to match the real oak treads; Repair damage to wall and paint wall; Strip, finish, sand, apply primer & base coast, and apply metallic finish to hand railing to match existing color.

 + -1 moreVERY HAPPY. HIS CREW CLEANED UP EVERY DAY BEFORE THEY LEFT, INCLUDING VACUUMING! HE BELIEVES IN A QUALITY JOB and WILL REDO THE WORK, WITHOUT BEING ASKED, IF HE IS NOT HAPPY WITH THE RESULT. WE CHOSE TO HAVE OUR DOORS BRUSHED INSTEAD OF SPRAYED TO KEEP COSTS DOWN. HE WASN'T SATISFIED WITH THE RESULT SO HE SPRAYED THEM AND DIDN'T CHARGE FOR THE UPGRADE IN SERVICE. THE HINGES WERE REMOVED FROM OUR CABINET DOORS, AND HIS CREW DIDN'T KEEP TRACK OF WHICH HINGE CAME FROM WHERE. SINCE EACH HINGE IS ADJUSTED FOR THE LOCATION, THE DOORS DIDN'T FIT QUITE RIGHT WHEN THEY WERE REHUNG. I POINTED THIS OUT TO HIM and REQUESTED THAT HE ADJUST ALL 30 OF THE HINGES. HIS RESPONSE WAS A CHEERFUL ''NO PROBLEM.'' INCIDENTALLY, HE IS THE NUMBER 1 FAUX PAINTER IN THE PORTLAND AREA. WHEN OTHER PAINTERS GET INTO TROUBLE, THEY CALL HIM TO BAIL THEM OUT. I KNOW BECAUSE ANOTHER PAINTER I HAD HIRED CALLED ON HIM. HE HAS A VERY SMALL CREW SO HE CAN CONTROL THE RESULT; AND THEY HAVE ALL BEEN TOGETHER FOR YEARS.
