+ -1 moreI used them before for the other side of the duplex. I really liked working with them. They were nice. They are not certified electricians so they can't do major electrical but they can do work that is too much for an individual. It is a father-son operation and they are really honorable. They are great people and I would recommend them. They are really good and I would absolutely use them again.
Description of Work: I used Edison Lighting to do repeat work on the other side of a duplex that they had done before. They switched lighting fixtures from old florescent to new florescent.

+ -1 moreThe folks at Edison Lighting are not electricians, so they are able to do minor electrical repairs at less cost. My kitchen has fluorescent lighting with three big floppy plastic panels that sit loose in the frame. To change the 3' fluorescent bulbs, I got the panels down okay, but had a heck of a time getting them back up again and actually broke one. I was so ticked that I gave up and said there has to be a better way! I got two quotes, one from an electrician quoting about $550 and the other from Edison Lighting who quoted $270.00. The electrician quoted doing everything new. Edison Lighting quoted adapting what I already had.
Description of Work: I don't know if I can explain how intensely frustrating the lighting feature in my kitchen was. Three large floppy plastic panels with loose crossbar frames inbetween each panel holding them in place. My favorite thing that Edison Lighting did was find a solution to that for me by gluing those crossbars down into place. They also replaced the paneling with a better product and updated the fluorescent lighting system. I totally recommend Edison Lighting.
