Description of Work: I have used this company for several years. Absolutely no problems whatsoever. Whenever I have a question, a competent person answers the phone and answers my questions immediately....no waiting for someone from "technical service" to call me back. They also have a web-mail service so that I can access my email from anywhere in the world. I highly recommend this company.

 + -1 moreBoth of the people I spoke with were very helpful, polite and patient. I would recommend this company to anyone needing internet service. I don't know if their prices are competitive....but their customer service can't be beat. Their cost for a dial up account is $19.95/month.
Description of Work: I am new to Portland and needed to get my computer connected to the internet. I'm not very computer literate, so I was leery of what my experience would be. I called dsl northwest and the gentleman who answered the phone (no recordings, no number pushing!) gave me the information I needed and I was able to connect to the internet on my own in just minutes! I wasn't quite so successful with getting my email account up and running, so I called them back the next day. The nice man who answered the phone patiently walked me through the process and my email got set up as we were talking on the phone. He had me send myself an email while we were still on the phone just to check that everything was working OK. It was very nice to have a real person answer the phone - and then to have it be a real person who could actually help....wow!
