+ 0 moreThe outcome for Job #1 was very positive. The work was quality and on budget. Dick Bain himself worked and supervised his crew. The outcome for Job #2 was well over-budget. Dick Bain subcontracted the labor and it went well over budget. Furthermore, Dick used over-priced mediocre quality base wood trim from Milwaukie Lumber. Overall, I think better communication could have avoided these problems, and I still feel somewhat taken advantage of. Perhaps I got such a good deal on Job #1 that there was significant claw-back on Job #2. Although Job #1 was great, I cannot recommend this provider based on the poor outcome of Job #2.
Description of Work: 1. Cover existing popcorn ceiling with 5/8" new drywall and re-texture select walls. 2. New wood base board trim installation and select painting.
