Had a great experience with these guys. Justin Snodgrass is a very good consultant. I did not had to leave my home even once to check out samples. Whatever I needed installed or planted was bought to me. He bought me the samples for the synthetic grass to look at and select also picked them up. He was very patient and was personally at my house to answer question and concerns. Very professional, not pushy at all, on time and always reachable by phone/txts/email. My backyard turned out exactly the way I wanted. It looks great. The worker who installed the synthetic grass was skilled and knew what he was doing. The crew that came to work was very professional as well. They listened to my suggestions and made sure I am satisfied with the work. They had good work etiquette and kept areas clean and free of clutter during the time period of their work. The price was reasonable. All the people I worked with know what they are doing and were good at it. I would definitely hire them again.

even with the pad laid out, was wrong shape, not level, not enough gravel, pavers not laid out, after second attempt not right, person could not understand what was wrong, no matter how it was explained, kept contacting after was told not to, several times, took 4 attempts to get a supervisor on phone, who reduced price, not enough but glad to be done with them. They came recommended by a contractor and a client, I guess you have a big job they send the big guns, if you have a small job that you're splitting up into segments, you get F troop.

Very unsatisfied with supervisor's choice of plants. I asked for easy care plants and keep it simple. He showed up with high maintenance plants. Lilac trees were planted on either side of a very small Japanese maple with three shrubs planted directly underneath the maple. Numerous plants required pruning several times each season. Many were far too large to be planted in such small areas. We intentionally killed several that were completely unsuitable and had to relocate numerous others. Still not done relocating. Next we have to replant. The supervisor that chose the plants was totally unqualified to do so. He was an amateur. No chance for Seven Dees to work here again in the future. I submitted this review about two years ago and didn't notice the process failed. This is a re-submission.

I told the landscape designer that I wanted easy maintenance shrubs with simple design. I told him to look at one of my neighbors yards to get just what I meant. He obviously did not check my neighbors yard. Many different types of shrubs were planted in my gardens. Some needed pruning 2 to 3 times each season or more. Many had to be transplanted elsewhere in the yard. Some were simply killed. We still have more to relocate. The landscape designer was an amateur in my opinion. 7 Dees didn't bother to tell me that. I won't use this company again. Lesson learned. Ask how much experience the designer has!!! I paid $9,000.

Our story is amazingly like the review left on 5/2/17! We also live in Lake Oswego and had landscape plans already created by Drew from Seven Dees about two years ago. We now had the capital to invest in this expensive venture-- a full back yard remodel and landscape. Drew came out initially a couple months ago and reviewed his plans, I made some changes and he made notes. He said he would be back to measure within a week. So....I finally called after nearly two weeks and he had no response to why he never came or called. Frankly the way he stumbled through the call was odd, as if completely distracted and unaware. I asked to reschedule and we agreed on a time. I cleared my work schedule to be at home and finalize the plan and measure. The day arrived and NO call and NO show! It has been a month now and he never called me again...as if the appointment just didn't exist. Astonishing and unprofessional. Now we have to find another provider in the middle of summer and wait another year for our yard to be livable. I too felt if the job was not big enough (nearly 20K) for him then he should have let me know and not wasted my time.

Symantha was in contact prior to the estimate, and was very responsive via email. She came out and assessed our property and quickly determined that we did not need french drains installed. I am writing this review because I appreciate that she did not sell us a product that we were ready to pay for, and instead gave us an honest assessment of our situation. I will absolutely be contacting her in the future for all landscaping needs.

My belief is that Dee?s used bait and switch marketing techniques to mislead me about schedule availability. I had been ready to pay full-price for non-competitive "ime and material? service delivery for fill-dirt?s installation. Day #1 On Day #1, I was unable to get past the receptionist. On my first contact, I tried to schedule and authorize time and materials service at $146 per hour to install fill dirt under my house?s front and back porches. I made my terms and conditions clear. I explained that Dees needed to be able to meet my time-sensitive schedule-needs to receive my business; and if the Dees had no openings for small job of less than one day?s duration, I needed to go elsewhere. The receptionist refused to transfer me to the scheduler. The receptionist insisted that I must communicate with the ?designer.? I explained hat I did not need any ?design-services.? The job was to install fill-dirt. Day #2 On Wednesday, the ?designer? Eric Hagberg called. During our direct conversation, we arranged to meet the next day. I explained my time-sensitive schedule needs. I asked the "designer" to check with the "scheduler" as I had asked the receptionist. To ensure schedule, I offered to put a deposit down immediately. I offered to email photos. I explained that I needed the work done in less than two weeks. Dees (Eric) did not anticipate any problem with my schedule needs. Day #3 At the site, on Thursday, Dees? was unable to provide a written estimate. From Day #1, I was ready to enter into a non-competitive ?time and material? contract. I told any Dees employee I talked to. By Day #3 on-site, the only question for Dees was to measure how much fill-dirt was needed. The calculation is $146 per hour for the time it takes to install fill-dirt, plus the cost of fill dirt itself. Dees said my work would be scheduled within three to five business days. Day #4 On Friday, July 24, I received the Dees the contract. The written contract did not match Dees? oral contract for schedule. The written contract ignored my stated time-sensitive schedule. Day #7 I called and explained to Dees? scheduler ?Nathan? about Dees? scheduling error on the written contract. Dees? scheduler ?Nathan? told me he was going to work out the details with a ?designer?to correct Dees? scheduling error. Then,"Nathan? was to call me back. That never happened. After my conversation with Dees? scheduler, I paid my deposit by phone to the billing clerk, corrected the schedule-error on the written contract, and emailed the signed agreement back. I did not hear back from the scheduler ?Nathan.? He did not honor his word to me. The scheduler did not correct the schedule-error. Instead, I received an email from the ?designer? who stated: "Contract not Accepted." ?You may not change the scheduled time on the contract?? Summary As a matter of integrity, oral contracts are binding. Since I did not ?change the scheduled time,? Dees? statement was patently untrue. Repeatedly from Day #1, I reiterated the identical time-sensitive schedule. As a pattern, Dees did not listen to my needs as a potential customer. Dees words did not match its actions. Dees did not respect the fact that my time has value. To customers, each employee is Dees?the business. As a customer, I was unimpressed by the scheduler shirking off the responsibility to correct the schedule-error and assigning the solution to one particular designer (Eric). The scheduler ?Nathan? said Dees? schedule for my job was determined by the designer ?Eric.? That does not make common sense. I said to the scheduler thatif there is more than one ?designer? there are many ways for Dees to accommodate my schedule-needs as a customer. Dees had the ability to honor Dees? oral agreement. That did not happen. Dees Comparison Prices Dees lost $1,931 of my certain business, when it engaged in ?bait and switch? practices applicable to schedule. By the way, in the end, the identical work performed by a different landscaping company cost only $270 (or $1,661 less than Dees' price quote).

Fantastic. We are very pleased with the results. The designer, Lars Nielsen, was great to work with. He is professional, pleasant, responsive and followed up quickly. The crew was also the same and great to deal with doing everything we wanted. Polite and professional and cleaned up spotlessly. The crew leader, Juan was great. We would deal with Lars and the crew again. We have received many compliments on the job and would recommend them If we have more yard work to do we will hire them. One of the best dealings we have had with contractors. We would recommend anyone considering landscape work to be sure to talk to them. We heard they were expensive but we feel we got our money's worth. They are on our A list.

I am going to hire them for monthly maintance.

I called twice and they said someone would call back - but no one ever did. I also left them an inquiry email from their web site and they also failed to respond to that.

Seven Dees always stands behind their warrantied plant stock. They are very helpful in sorting out any problems and making sure their customers are satisfied.

Fantastic, its a good company, they do good work and on time.

We asked them for a bid on a landscaping project and we gave them a budget of $1000. They tried to put something together that would have worked for $1000 and we didn't like what they put together. He really wasn't interested in doing it for $1000. It just kind of felt like if we weren't going to pay what we had budgeted that they weren't going to work with us.

They did what they said they would do, when they would do it, and did it through to completion, professionally. This is the second significant project done with the company and they are professional, consistent, and they get absolutely great plants. they cost more than other landscapers, but when quality matters it is worth the extra to hire them.

Dennis's Seven Dees Landscaping I will be going to use. I received a quote from them. So far my experience has been excellent. The contact took less than two days. The quote was worked up within a couple days. I have been visited twice to go over. Now it's just a matter of getting it done. The quote was done last week. The quote was very reasonable. They were very punctual in getting back, the quote was reasonable, they worked well with me on revising it the first time and coming up with fine details, scheduling. Very, very, very good to work with.

I got exactly what I wanted. I liked that I had something else in my mind. They made some suggestions of how to save money. It was not exactly what I had in mind but I was very happy with it. They are expensive but I an happy with what I have. They were very responsive. They kept me informed throughout the entire process and they communicated well. They followed up when the work was done to see how it went. They completed the work in two days.

They were very professional. They were punctual, they did exactly what they said they were going to do and they did it on time, finished on time, were very careful. It was a two day job and I have a two dogs and a cat. So they were very careful and kind of protected their work so that the dogs and kids could still get around overnight while they weren't here. They went that extra mile as they disturbed some grass in an area and they laid it again in that area. They did what they said they were going to do for the price they said, so I was happy.

There were no problems whatsoever with getting the job done. This company was very responsive to our requests and had a work crew whom they used on a regular basis and who knew how to do a perfect job.

I spent about $4000 on their services. The service was wonderful. The quote was timely and their response was timely. The quote was timely and the response for scheduling people worked out great. The crew was amazingly bright and neat. They just did the work and went on. It went really well. I picked them and I talked to several different people. I will use their services again in the future.

We have been very happy with them. The only downside is their pricing, they are expensive. They stand behind their work and everything they do; they do excellent; high quality work. The work they have done is drop dead gorgeous and we are very pleased.

I contacted them and they came out and looked at my issue. I really liked them. They said that they would send me an estimate but they never contacted me again. They were punctual and prompt when they came to look at what I had. They were very personable and pleasant but I never heard from them again.

I would give them A's across the board except the price. They have been all day here. Their price is little high. They take care of whatever you need. They think about things ahead of time for landscaping. They always plan up for the future. The manager is really outgoing. I wouldn't use anybody else. I would use them in the future.

They have been fantastic and courteous. They answered all my questions and I am pleased with them. I like their services and will use the same in future.
