Description of Work: Kitchen and utitlity room remodel: Tear out of old cabinets, counters, backsplash, flooring, plumbing and light fixtures, window, door and baseboard trim and soffit. Relocated all appliances to garage during construction. Installation of exterior wall insulation, new marmoleum flooring, Ikea cabinets and hardware,counters, dishwasher, sink and faucet; installed and vented new microwave hood; Installed and painted new window, door and baseboard trim; Installed new light fixtures, including new reduced profile soffit with can lighting; Installed refrigerator and gas range ; Installed new electrial outlets, light switches and dimmers. Relocated plumbing for sink and plumbed water line for refrigerator. Replace washer and dryer and relocated dryer vent. Replace water spigots and bibs for washer Painted walls, doors and ceilng

Description of Work: The contractor who built our condo did not finish the wood windows. After trying repeatedly to get them to do this work, we decided to hire someone else to complete the work and to protect the wood. Because we had had such a good experience with Joanne doing our walls, we hired her to come in and do our windows. She came in and sanded off the stains and misapplied finish, corrected the problems with the nails that the contractor left, and applied multiple coats of finish. They now look complete and all the wood match, unlike the original where the woods had colored differently and looked awful.

Description of Work: Joanne painted our new condo walls. She worked with us to get the right kind of paint based on our environmental concerns as well as the desired effect. She helped us pick the right colors. She then painted the walls. This was complicated because we had different colors and different walls that needed to meet as well as non-standard doorways. She did an excellent job in the short time frame that we had to get it painted prior to our moving in.
