Work went great. The team was super responsive during the quoting and procurement process and the installation went off with out a hitch. Very happy with my beautiful new countertops.

The general contractor of our kitchen remodel recommended De La Tierra, Inc. for granite fabrication and installation for our kitchen counters and island. Michael of De La Tierra did outstanding work. He also replaced the worn tile counters in our laundry room with marble. We are very impressed with the results.

Went great. Michael did an amazing job with the countertops and also with the smaller pieces. Price seemed very fair and he and Aurora were very professional and pleasant to work with. Some of the smaller pieces were very odd shapes that we drew templates for, and they came out great! Would definitely contact these guys again if we have any more granite projects!

It was a very unique design. It took us quite a while to find somebody to use. They did an absolutely excellent job. It was really a unique design that we came up with, and the way they put it together was very professional. The finish is perfect. The wet seals that they had to put in are basically invisible. They did an excellent job of set up to protect our hardwood floor in our kitchen and to clean up afterwards. Their thing was on time and what they said it was going to cost. Their response was one of the reasons we did go with them. We contacted almost 2 dozen companies and out of 2 dozens, 4 of them responded back in a timely manner. De la tierra was actually the only one that stayed on top of it.

There are a lot of granite and stone installers out there! What we liked from the beginning was Aurora's attention to detail. After picking out our granite at EleMar, in Tualatin, I emailed Aurora a map of our kitchen. After a very prompt call back she instantly had clarifing questions about my map to ensure they would quote the job as accurately as possible. Further she gave me some ideas I hadn't considered. Plus, helped with finding the right new sink for our project at an acceptable price. After getting a couple of other quotes we decided to go with de la Tierra due to the attention to detail and that they would do the job from tear out of old countertops to the installation of the new ones. Other places that quoted our job referred us to a different company for tear out - we liked the idea of the one contact, one stop shop so to speak. Our job was scheduled and Michael and Steven came out to tear out and map for the new granite. Again, more attention to detail and included me in options & decisions about working around a quirky window casing in my kitchen. When they came back to install the stone, the seams are virtually invisable and the pattern match is incredible. Other things to like about Aurora & Michael of de la Tierra: You only have to tell them something once! Always on time for appointments. Excellent and timely communication High quality and detailed work Good clean up Just plain nice people!

Aurora and Michael are a great team who provide a quality product with great service. Aurora is prompt on follow up and excellent at all the details such as what should go in the contract, general notice and release forms, dates and she understands the work to be done. She made my life much easier. Michael did a great job of cutting and installing the stone in such a way that all the lines in the marble flow smoothly from countertop to backsplash to bar. Both Michael and Aurora go the extra mile and both are very personable. For example, Aurora let me know about a furniture store as well as sources for sinks and gave us a referral for elusive cabinet doors. When Michael encountered a more difficult tear down than expected due to prior workmanship, he went the extra mile without revising or changing the bid. I really enjoyed working with Aurora and Michael and hope to do so again.

It was great, fantastic and a pleasure to deal with. Everything is done on time. They did a marvelous job. He went and picked up the stone for us. There was leftover and they are storing it for free. Everything he said he would do he did on time. He did a great job and had great ideas. His bid came in right on time. Everything was done well. He gave suggestions that improved our own plan. His rate was about $1000 less than other bids.

They do a good. He stuck to his prices. he did try to change orders. he loyal to the date sof teh job that he gave us.

I got the ref from a nearby rock slab wholesaler. Michael was excellent in pre-sales communications: personable and professional. He was flexible about looking at lots of possible pieces of granite, creative about possible solutions to the design problem, and completed the fabrication on time, quickly, and for a very fair price. A completely excellent experience.

Once the marble was selected and the cabinets installed it took about a week to complete. The job was done within the time frame that was given to us. He was very professional and nice to us. He is also knowledgeable and took the time to explain the differences between marble and granite. We were quite pleased and would defiantly use him again.
