Description of Work: David painted a bedroom and bathrorom with many doors and other woodwork. He is always ontime and does an excellent job! I would highly recommend him.

+ 0 moreI spent 9 hours trying to remove wall paper on one side of the hallway. In desperation, I called David. He said he wished I'd called him sooner. The wallpaper could be painted over and become part of the wall. He came promptly at 8:30 a.m. and started with a primer over partially papered wall. He painted the entire job and put on a second coat in some areas. What amazed me was how effectively he corrected a previously sloppy paint job in the stairwell. He used an extender to paint the high walls, and a special tool on an extender to paint up to the "popcorn" ceiling, even over a different colored paint. It took another half a day to finish the job. He painted the one wall in the hallway 3 times and no one would know it was over wallpaper. He also did a beautiful job of painting the door and trim. He works fast and with exceptional dexterity. David painted my kitchen and living room a year ago, and I decided then, I'd never want another painter.
Description of Work: David works for himself, and apparently by referrals. He painted an inside door, the walls in two hallways, stairwell and upstairs platform. I'm amazed by the precision with which he works. I had a problem with finding replacement baseboard in the doorway from the hall. What I wanted to match was a wood laminate finish. On his lunch break he found a piece, and brought it back the next day cut and stained and made it work also with a different baseboard on the other side of the wall. This I didn't expect.
