Very well. Good guidance in selecting an appropriate quartz remnant. They also recommended and supplied a good sink that would work and the installation was accurate and careful. They went the extra mile to ensure it was a good fit.

Best customer service of any vendor I have ever used! We had an unreasonably short time frame to get our house on the market prior to a work transfer to another state. Cindy and Marc worked us into their schedule and helped identify great quartz remnants we could utilize to help control our tight budget. Installation was timely, professional and results were beautiful. When appliances were installed in the final hours before photos were to be made and an open house held, we discovered we made a cabinet installation error (our error; not theirs) and the refrigerator door banged against the cabinet. Only solution was to cut a few inches off the quartz overhang on the rear of the single unit cabinet between the frig and the oven and move it closer to the wall. Marc had someone out within a few hours and we were back on schedule. Countertops are beautiful and it was wonderful to work with such an amazingly customer friendly group of people!

I dealt with Marc Closner when I walked in to their Milwaukie showroom/factory. I didn't have an appointment, but he was kind enough to give me his time. They have lots of samples to choose from and you can also go into the factory to look at remanents. We thought we wanted Silestone, but were pleasantly surprised to find LIvingStone a much better choice. They came out to do the template on the 12th and installed on the 19th. Their installers were quick and efficient. Counter looks beautiful. We will hire them again for future stone work.

Cindy is great and so is her staff. I purchased granite at the home show and paid 2/3 the price. I got Bianco Antique Granite with an undermount sink. Our cabinet install people did not check to make sure both sides of the stove were at the same height and her people didn't either before they installed the granite so they had to come back and take it off. They did so without complaint. Hopefully in the future they will double check that. They also field fit window ledges when we found the window ledges were not at the same height as the cabinets (again cabinet installer error). She helped my by telling me where I could look for sinks and faucets. See pics at link below... https://moorheadmurrayhillkitchenremodel.wordpress.com/

The sales person was very quick to respond to my request for an estimate. She was knowledgeable about the product. The samples were too small in size (2and quot;x2and quot;) to get a good sense of how the counters would look against the floor so I went to a store with a demo counter to see what the style I had chosen from the samples looked like in mass. I changed my mind about the style. I called the sales person and she said the order for materials had not been shipped from the supplier, so I could change my order without any extra charges. The fellow who did the measurements and installation was very personable and thorough in explaining what the procedures would be . He helped me decide what edge would look best, where I should locate the sink faucet and soap dispenser and how I could adjust the depth of the counter near the kitchen door so it would feel less crowded. The counters he constructed and installed looked great. However, I did not have my stove in place when he did the measurements, and he did not notice that the counters on both sides of the stove where not perfectly parallel and the wall was not straight, so the stove opening was too small at the front edge of the counter for the stove to fit in. The company was prompt in sending someone to fix the problem and the fix turned out fine. I would use this company again - price, quality, and responsiveness kept me happy despite the snag. I would, however, remind the installer that this is a 90 year-old house and NOTHING is square.

This company was recommended to me by my contractor. The first time I called they were super helpful and friendly. I needed to make a very fast decision, at my general's request, to choose the material (quartz solid surface vs. tile) for my shower/tub surround. I let Linda know that as soon as I talked to her and also gave her our countertop dimensions. She gathered my numbers and promised to send me some prices and remnants if any applied by the end of the day if I got her the dimensions. So I dropped everything on my plate, went home, measured, at CSS's request scanned our template document to them and then waited. I called back when I hadn't heard anything. This time Linda said the drawing was cut off, but this was end of the day and my contractor had been firm that I must know that day, so I was feeling panicked. Linda could not understand my dimensions over the phone, continously seemed to transpose the numbers I had given her, or just mix up which was which, and kept me on the phone for about an hour trying to record the L shaped dimensions...it is a L shaped cabinet with three sides touching a wall. It was NOT complicated. Then, at my begging to talk to someone who could comprehend the numbers, she put me on with her template guy who claiemed, rather quickly, to understand what to look for. He said Linda would email me that night or first thing Monday.Still no estimates. On Monday afternoon no one from CSS had called back or emailed the promised numbers. I called multiple times. Now, days after they said, "no problem, we can get those numbers for you," they told me the ONLY way they could give me an estimate was to come out to the job and measure...three days later, or five days after I was told I could get numbers "that night!"Att the measure, Linda had a haughty air but was professional with booties on (very rare at this stage in a job to see a contractor who does try to protect your floors) and the guy with her was really nice. Until I said I got my (remodeled kitchen countertop marble slab at Intrepid) and he said they were "poor quality" and that their company "would hardly ever use them." We LOVE our kitchen and to have a fabricator come in and say something so unsolicited and derogatory essentially about our countertop choice in another room of our house, a was not professional. On top of this, their bid came in higher than anyone else we got bids from including: Granite Galaxy, A-tech granite, and Divine Woodwork and Stone. Their bid for 20sf of 3cm quartz was $2965 and their bid for the tub surround was $6710. My lowest bids came in at $1300 for countertops and $2500 for surrounds so I can not say their price was competitive at all.
Description of Work: I considered them for a countertop and bathtub fabricator. I went with someone else.

CSC did a very professional job at a reasonable cost. Everything was done well. The job took one week to complete and was done right on time. Mark and co. started with the existing countertop demolition to measure the template and helped us setup the sink for the week while the granite was being prepared. The granite preparation was done within a week as promised. During installation they took care to restore the appliances and took care to setup plastic sheeting on our hardwood floors along the work paths.
Description of Work: We had granite countertops done for our kitchen and bathrooms. We purchased the granite from CSC themselves as they had a good selection of stones. We also bought the new sinks from their workshop since they had good deals.

Mark really knows his granite, and as fabricator gave his professional opinion through the process, but always made sure it was what we wanted for our home. Cindy, the owner was very professional, made sure our calls got through to Mark, and answered any questions we may have had. We found the 3cm granite was too think for a backsplash under our window, so Mark quickly supplied the name of a Tile Man, Rudy Gomez of "Envious Tile and More" in Dundee, and he did a beautiful job on our backsplash. Mark and crew had to correct an edge, due to woodwork done the previous week by another contractor. Even though I know it was heavy and tricky to remove, they made sure I knew that it was no problem and wanted to make sure I was happy with the finished product. The kitchen looks beautiful! The whole crew was very professional, prompt, answered any questions, clean-up was thorough. We'd refer any of our friends and family to Custom Stone Creations. Wish all contractors were like them!

They showed up when they said they would, they did what they said they would do, and they were very sensitive about the cleanliness of the area they were working as well as the rest of the house. They were very courteous and they explained to us how it would work. There was one hiccup because one of the walls wasn’t straight but they didn’t hesitate to solve the problem. Knowing how they respond when things don’t go perfectly is just as important as how wonderfully they do. I was very impressed with their personnel and their work and the price was comparable.

I first got a quote from Carol at CSC and a few other companies and I must say that she not only impressed me with her professionalism and kindness she made sure all details specific to my job were taken care of. I have a big kitchen with some tricky cuts. I went down to the show room to see the stone options and design the lay out for the different pieces. While I was there I worked with Mark who knows the stone work inside and out. Me gave me added insight I never would have thought about in adding functionality and making seams the least noticable in my kitchen. I liked them so much that I ended up having them do my 3 bathrooms with the kitchen which I wasn't going to do intially. Can't say enough about their customer service, you can tell your working with a small company with CSC they just take care of you way better than the Precision Countertops of the world. Thanks Carol and team!

Let me just say that this company is a dream to work with! I cannot say enough about this company! I was having trouble making up my mind, colors, granite vs. quartz, and Cindy had the crew pull slab after slab for me to look at, dragging them outside so I could see them in the natural light. After picking out the kitchen slab, she showed me remnants, which seemed pricey for the laundry room. But the price for the remnant was not much more than some laminates cost, and she gave me a great deal on all of it. I declined to have the window sill done when I was originally contracting with them, but the day the granite went in, I added a beautiful window sill, too. I was afraid about granite staining, but Cindy encouraged me to do my own tests on the little piece I had, and I did! Not one stain! Being the worrying type, I went ahead and purchased the lifetime guarantee seal (I have little kids and I am an RN, so if a stain sat for 12 hours while I was at work...). Cindy was patient with me during each wave of panic. She worked around the endless changes in the schedule. The granite went in on December 23rd, and the next day there was a problem with appliance installation. The guys were back out at my house, on Christmas Eve, working til late in the afternoon. The installation guys were so nice, polite, and did a perfect job. CSC is such a pleasure to work with. I will go back again and again! Granite is worth the money, and it DOES NOT STAIN! Every day I look at my countertops and admire their beauty. The job is perfect. There is not a single thing I could suggest to improve; in this day and age, that is rare indeed.

I started out by going to their warehouse/office in Milwaukie on a Sunday and meeting with the owner, Cindy. They normally are not open on Sundays but she made an exception for me which I really appreciated. Cindy is great to work with, very knowledgeable and personable. They had many slabs to choose from including granite, quartz and marble. I found exactly what I wanted and signed a contract on the spot. They were running a special in January that included a free countertop for your bathroom with a paid kitchen counter top install. So, I got one of my bathrooms done for free which was great. I took the first available appointment for taking measurements, making the templates and doing the tearout and that was four days later. Marc and George showed up on time and the first thing they did was lay down cloths in all the areas that they would be walking thru and working in. They tore out the counters in the kitchen and one of the bathrooms removing the sinks at the same time. Thankfully they left the master bathroom tearout for the install day so we wouldn't be without sinks for a week. The same crew came back a week later to do the install. I live on a narrow private road and they willingly backed their trailer up into my short driveway and disconnected it from the truck then moved the truck out onto the public street so they did not block our fire lane. I am sure that was a hassle for them but they did it without complaining. They ran into a couple problems when they installed everything but they worked around them skillfully. In the kitchen I had the granite extend up the wall behind the sink and made the windowsill also out of the granite. They found that wall was not straight but bowed out so they had to shave some of the sheetrock to correct it. Looking at the finished product you would not know there was an issue there. My kitchen counter is U-shaped and they managed to do the whole thing with only one seam and they offset the seam so it would look better. They also meticulously checked each section to make sure it was level and they had to add shims in a few spots. They also installed four undermount sinks and they were very careful to make sure the sinks were centered correctly under the counters and in relation to the cabinetry below. They caulked everything very professionally and the caulk is invisible now. They also drilled the holes in the countertops for the faucets to be placed later by the plumber. They put the slide-in range/oven back in place and took the time to level it in relation to the new counter height, adjusting and readjusting until they were satisfied it was right. They cleaned up after themselves by vacuuming and wiping down every surface. When they left there was no sign they had been there working all day except the new counters and sinks. Marc had me inspect everything when they were done and quickly corrected two minor things I noticed. The only issue that came up was that when they removed the kitchen sink they did not leave the sink drain or garbage disposal drain pieces. They did leave the kitchen faucet and the main part of the garbage disposal. I guess most people replace the faucet and garbage disposal when they do this type of remodel but I was planning to reuse mine. So, when the plumber came he had to replace those parts with new ones and that added a little to my cost. Overall, I am very satisfied with the work and the experience I had with this company. I would highly recommend them.

They did a fabulous job. There was a problem with the size of the sink for the granite and they helped us with some solutions. They went out to the granite store and picked out a piece that was larger for us which went above and beyond. The finished work was excellent and we were very happy with this company. Plus they added a back splash for practically nothing because they had that extra material.
