Custom Concrete Construction

It was a big and complicated job. Murray was there from start to finish. We had a number of changes we wanted to make; Murray made them all. The job site was cleaned up completely. The work still looks beautiful a year later.

Requested a bid on replacing the driveway, sidewalks, etc and never got a response on first attempt. Unacceptible customer service.

Our home has a very large front concrete patio area and smaller back patio. Both areas needed to be refinished. Gordon was very patient as we discussed the options. He provided an estimate by the next day. His approach is very upfront and honest. Once we agreed to the project he made a special trip to discuss the color and apply a sample so I could see the finish. From the start he was very focused on making sure we were happy! Even with some unexpected Oregon rain...which lead to an additional step...he was able to deliver a beautiful finished project. We were very satisfied with his hard work...and will continue to have him back to keep the patios looking great!

He gave me a reasonable bill and stood by it. Scheduling was also easy and he was patient enough.

Murray was awesome! I can't say enough about their professionalism and work ethic. Unfortunately we hired another company earlier to pour a patio. They did such a poor job that only after two days it began to crack and chip. They ended up coming back and removing the entire patio. We were desperate after this horrible experience and found Murray and his crew on angies list. Murray was very responsive and fit us in their schedule so we did not have to have our yard torn up for weeks and had a patio for an upcoming event. His crew was very professional and covered all my plants and patio furniture so not to cause any damage. They were efficient and true professionals. I am a real estate broker and refer contractors all the time and these people are top notch! I would recommend them any day of the week and twice on Sunday!

Murray and his team at Custom Concrete are exceptional. Not only did we receive consistent communications and status updates (schedules, next steps, etc), but Murray was always there when I had a simple question or concern. I would definitely work with them again and provide referrals to family & friends. It is not often that you find a professional today that truly makes the customer feel valued... thank you!

Very responsive to come out and give us a bid. Right on time for the appointment. No pressure, low key sales which we appreciated. If we have concrete work to do in the future we won't hesitate to use them. They were very competitive with the other concrete bid we received.

They were fine. We did not use them because we needed the money to refinance our house. The owner had a nice portfolio with him and they were attentive to our ideas and our needs because it's a sizable driveway. We certainly will have him back and re-quote it.

Did an excellent job and we are extremely pleased with the results. Have a steep driveway and they contoured it very well. Love the lines of the driveway and have had several people stop and comment on it. Added to the value of our home.

A very dusty job. That's the nature of stamping the concrete. The crew arrived and got right after it, jackhammering what they didn't need of the old porch and forming up the new porch and walkway. It is a three day job and the sealer will be applied in the next week or so. Very pleased with the professionalism of the crew, the communication. I think it is important for the homeowner to be present on jobs like this just in case issues come up. What I mentioned to Murray didn't necessarily get communicated to the foreman, and that is understandable, given the situation. No body remembers every little thing and some things change on the fly. The price came in the ballpark of what I consider other good contractors. It is a physically demanding job and if anyone took a lunch break, I didn't see it. They got in and got it done. Well done. It was one of their smaller jobs.

I have not decided if I am going to go with them, but they were good at getting back to me. He was knowledgeable about what I needed him done.

Excellent job! From the time of getting the estimate to the finish of the job, they were very professional. Murray was very helpful in helping us decide what we wanted and gave lots of options/information that we could think about. When construction was started the crew was very punctual, and worked in a highly efficient manner. They were well-organized and helpful as well.

Removed all old concrete and debris. Cleaned up each day and removed old concrete from street same day. Murray was prompt with his estimate and performed all work as agreed and on time. Prior to meeting Murray I had dealt with 8 or so stamped concrete contractors who were either late or never came through with their estimate. Murray gave me the estimate the same day and came through with everything we had agreed on. I highly recommend Olberg Construction.

Olberg was recommended to us by our friends. They tore out the old cement, which was over 700sq feet. They then poured new concrete, and stamped and colored so it looks like natural stone. We also had a new seating area installed. I really appreciated how well they stuck to their schedule. The work was completely in a timely manner, and I love the results.

My experience with them was excellent. They were really good.

The best experience I have ever had with any contractor, reliable, knowledgeable, accessible, all employees very professional and punctual, the finished product is outstanding. Murray runs this company the way a company should be run but few are any more, if you need any concrete work done Murray is your man to call.
