This is an updated review...read carefully! On the evening of our leaky roof incident, Clint came out to inspect and repair our tiny leak. It was literally just tiny drops of water coming out of a teeny tiny spot in our kitchen. He located the leak origin as being the flashing around our oven vent in the roof. He made some quick repairs and made arrangements to come out the next day with workers to finish the patch job. He also noticed our bathroom fans were not connected to the outside of the house through our attic when he was up there and suggested he do this the next day as well. We decided to purchase new bathroom fans since we were already getting work done on them. He arranged to return the next day with the new fans and people to finish the roof leak and install the fans. Before he left, he insisted that while he stand over me I write this positive review on Angie's List. He offered a discount to do this. This is what was written then: "We had an excellent experience! We found their ad on Craigslist for emergency issues. When we called, someone picked up the phone right away. The dispatcher sent out Jack Brockway to handle the issue. He came out within an hour and it was late on a Sunday night. He was fast, professional, and was a great communicator. He looked at our issue, fixed the leak for the night and set up someone to come out the next day to remedy it permanently. This company is fantastic! Professional, friendly, and easy to work with!" The next day, Clint arrived with two workers who we understood to be electricians. Since they were already going to be doing work in the attic space, we asked that they add on to the job a quick stringing of our speaker wires in the living room to hide them. When the worker was done, he STEPPED through our ceiling, causing a hole and cracks, panicked!! then RAN to the attic hatch in our laundry room and FELL THROUGH all the way, causing an enormous hole. Additionally, when they arrived with the new bathroom fans he was asking for a large sum for them. I stepped away for a moment and looked up these fans on home depot.com and found that they were up charging us significantly. We put them on the spot about it and Clint made excuses but finally conceded to the lower price. Clint was apologetic about the holes and set about to repair them right away. Our ceiling has a special "brocade" acoustic plastering. He brought in someone to replicate this pattern and it was horrible and not at all like the original pattern, standing out like a sore thumb. We requested a redo. So they did it again. Again TERRIBLE. I requested that they find a worker more adept at doing it and they finally brought in a specialist who finally did a great job. In the mean time, this took two weeks. Two weeks of a huge mess and strangers in my house. This was January to February of 2012. A little over a year later, a strange and oddly aggressive and stand-offish man knocked on my door. He introduced himself as an employee of this company and demanded we pay our bill!!! I was astonished. We had given them a credit card number for payment when the fans were installed for the electricians work. He presented the invoice. They had written our phone number incorrectly on the paperwork and then did not run the card. A month or so after we gave them that card number for the work, that credit card was the victim of identity theft and the card company sent us a new card with new numbers, making the card they had on file obsolete. So over a year later they sent this thug out to collect payment, treating me like a payment dodger. Unbelievable. I refused to pay him on the spot since it seemed fishy. I told him I needed to research things on our end to make sure we did indeed owe them. I told him I could call Clint to make payment but he insisted on returning the next day. We did actually owe them since they did not run our card in a timely fashion. So the next day, Mr. Thug returned for payment. Fast forward to yesterday, 11/3/14. We walked into the kitchen to find that the original leak location is now a full blown huge leak. There is damage to my kitchen. Oh, and a few months ago when I had another worker inspecting my attic space, I learned that they never even attached the bathroom fans venting to the exterior of the house. So just to recap, this company is not worthy of a single shred of your business. And it appears that if you look up Right Now Home Services on the Better Business Bureau website this company has a grade of F and plenty of other complaints. DO NOT DO ANY BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!
Description of Work: This company (also called Right Now Home Services) came out and inspected a leak we had in our roof and them made consequent repairs to it. They also installed 3 new bathroom fans and strung some speaker wire in our attic space.
