 + -1 moreKnowing that I couldn't get a repair company out to my house in under 3 weeks, I made the call early Saturday morning. Gentleman on the phone was polite and professional. Confirmed he had the replacement motor in stock. Suggested that I check the capacitor for irregularities (and it was) before changing out the fan motor. Gave me some good advice on how to check the condition of the fan motor. Having never cracked open an AC unit, Conrey Electric saved me money and frustration on the hottest day of the year Conrey Electric provides honest answers at a fair price.
Description of Work: Sold me a capacitor and a condesor motor for Goodman residential AC.

 + -1 moreMy 30+ year old Jennair cook top downdraft motor went out. I looked at new cook tops and decided to just replace the motor. I took it down to Conreys and the man behind the counter recognized it right away. He had a new motor available and quoted me about $150 and gave the motor to a technician to change out. The tech added labor to the bill which added $32.50. The other guy wasn't available to speak to so I just paid it. Disappointed me.

Description of Work: Used Twice - once mid 2008 and now in Mid 2009 to look at small (1 hp) engine. Both times engine failed to start at begining of wine harvest season. First time process of examining it fixed it - 30 bucks. The second time (different engine) they said - forget it, too old to try to fix - and didn't charge me. Pretty Fair Treatment

 + 0 moreWhen my >20 yr old bathroom fan quit working, rather than install a new fan, I wanted to replace just the burnt-out motor. I was directed to Conrey by the guys at a local hardware store. I took the unit in so Conrey could see it and, while I waited, they dissasembled the unit, found a comparable motor, cut a shaft to length, wired it to the existing plug, put it back together, adjusted the fan vanes, tested it, etc. ... all in 1/2 hr. When I went in, I thought I'd be leaving with just a motor that I'd have to deal with. Instead, I left with everything done & the unit ready to reinstall in the ceiling. All for $36! Kudos to Conrey!!
