Really glad that we contacted Columbia Pest Control - they were quick, professional, responsive, and worked with my sometimes crazy schedule. Well worth the hire, and if the need arises, we will work with them again in a heartbeat.

This company was great! The office staff was efficient and friendly. The tech was also friendly and also explained everything that we was doing. The documentation provided was also complete and helpful. Highly recommended.

Columbia responded quickly, didn't try to sell a one year quarterly visit contract, and had a reasonable price. The technician who came out, George, was thorough, professional, and careful. An excellent company to do business with.

Thought we had termites. It was only pharoah ants.

The lady who was on the phone with me was one of the most informative and courteous persons I’ve had the pleasure to talk to and because of her good will- when I need any pest control they will be the company I hire.

Went well. Found entry point and sealed. Sent traps for rats in crawlspace and attic and bait outside. In two weeks rats were gone. Jay was very professional and explained what he was doing to get rid of rats

Good company. I particularly like the fact that they don't lock you into a service contract like some others do. We had escalating ant and spider problems. One external application didn't do it so we had them return in about 3 weeks to do the outside again and also spray in certain places inside. The technician, George, was excellent. The two applications seem to have taken care of the problem. We will likely do this again at least quarterly.

The Columbia technician that came out was great! He was professional, informative and honest. He didn't try and up sell any additional products or services. He mentioned evidence of a possible past rodent problem but said things looked good now and gave suggestions on how to prevent them from getting in our crawl space in the future. I was so pleased with these guys that I have since recommended them to a few friends.

They were promptly available and clearly explain their fees and process, prices are reasonable, they return as needed to ensure the problem is solved.

This company has the absolute worst customer service. We started with them at our old property and when we moved decided to hire them at the new property. We paid the initial fee of over $200 to treat for sugar ants and then paid their quarterly fee of $95 for almost 3 years. They came whether I needed them to or not. However when I actually needed them to come, they informed me that I would need to switch to a monthly plan costing me much more than the already costly $400/year I'd been paying. This was a shock to me. To top it off my husband was sworn at and told they didn't care when he called to find out what was going on, and hung up on. This company is horrible. They use termidor and talstar products which are readily available online for less than the one quarterly fee of $95 and you'll have several years worth of chemicals. Steer clear of this company, they truly do not care about you or any other customer. If I could give them zero stars I would.

service for ants last month, They were due to come out between 1 and 2 i was late myself but they came back same day to service my kitchen. Very prompt with responses to customer. Then, i have issues with them coming out without them telling me, they put a note on my door when they come without my permission. They have agreed to let me know when they are coming and they have assured that is possible.

They were on time, thorough inspection, explanation of recommended service, service performed, 2 follow-up visits. They set traps and sealed places where squirrels were getting into the attic. Trapped and removed one dead squirrel. Kind of pricey, $450.00 altogether. Even so, they were professional, dependable and effective. Three visits total over about 3 weeks.

It went great, I have not seen an ant sense. These guys once and done. Maintenance every other month. They are cheap and do a good job.

After 2 weeks the mice were eliminated. All possible points of entry have been sealed.

Very well. We managed to bring bedbugs back from Alaska/Canada. Believe me, you would rather have termites, snakes, or black widows than bedbugs. There are a couple of things I especially appreciated about Columbia. First, they use environmentally benign chemicals and methods. I asked for three bids from three companies -- one of them being Columbia -- including a company whose niche is green and organic. The final chemical recommendations, however, were virtually identical. Second, I asked a lot of pointed questions about the use of particular chemicals and substances. Columbia always got back to me with an explanation that made sense. Third, they gave us a lot of good tips. Fourth, the bedbugs are gone.

The scheduler and service provider were both excellent. I called on a Friday afternoon and the service provider was there at 10:00 the next morning as scheduled. He explained the process and chemicals used ( a pyrethrin), and performed the service.

We have been with Columbia for 5 years, 3 in our current home and 2 in a previous rental. In all that time there were some small things that happened that bothered me (such as having chemical doused all over my child's toys, my curler box and marring the plastic, scheduling problems and unable to come in a timely manner) but they we're not enough to make me leave the company, that is until last week. We pay for a quarterly contract with them and have a fairly small home. This has been the arrangement for the last 3 years. The contract guaranteed them to come every 3 months and treat whether it was needed or not and assured me that I could call in-between treatments, for no additional cost, if ever the need arose "we just want to make you happy" I was told. In 3 years we called 4-5 times to have them back out. Last week when I had them come for an ant eruption I was told my account had been flagged and I needed to switch to monthly service. I already pay almost $400 a year for quarterly service, we have a small home with very little activity other than small (odiferous) ant eruptions once or twice a year, and I have 2 small children so I don't want chemicals doused on my home all the time. I called the office and Jill, the receptionist, told me yes what Mike the tech said was true. She also added that they will no longer respond to in-between service calls for us. So if we were to have an ant trail running up the middle of my hallway, tough, gotta wait for your next quarterly service. That's awful. She was rude as she always is and runs right over you when you try to speak. I spoke with Mike the tech that was here and he simply said "She's a *****, she's rude and shouldn't be the face of the company. Call and talk to Mike the owner, call about 8 and he'll answer because Jill doesn't come in until 9 or after". My husband called today and spoke to Mike and explained the issue. Mike was rude and clearly doesn't care about customer service either and told him he didn't want to talk about it, to take our service elsewhere. And so we shall. I've spoken to other services and they were all shocked that someone would treat us as poorly as Columbia has. Never in good conscience would I ever recommend them to anyone. I was also told by professionals that we do not need quarterly service that it is a waste of money. Having a solid annual treatment is all we need. Thanks Columbia for robbing us for 5 years and treating us so poorly.

It went well. The ants appear dead and in one year they will return and take care of it. They are non-judgmental, were very respectful, and will come back when I need them.

I started using Columbia Pest Control when I had a major moth infestation, and all of my experiences have been great. The lady in the office, Jill, was very reassuring and professional, and she gave me the owner's direct line. When I called, the owner picked up almost immediately, he came out the very next day, and his treatment plan which used a non-toxic chrysanthemum oil successfully resolved the moth problem.

The service was good. I have no complaints. The workers were good. They were right on schedule.

It went very well for the 1st 2 applications but after that I was still seeing the occasional cockroach. My contractor also said that he saw them at night. The folks at Colombia came over 3 more times to check out the house and educated me about the process. The tech (who is the owner) also told me about how he started his business and trains his employees. I was told that it could take 6 more months for them all to die but that enough traps were set to take care of the problem. I haven't seen one since. I am doing so well living in the house because it feels pest free.

Our experience with them has been fine. We have their service for six or seven years and we are happy with them. We have them year round. I think there are just a couple of months that we take off like the winter months. We had problems with carpenter ants and they took care of it. Then we are just on the maintenance thing for pest control on the outside. We have not had anything to do in the inside.

Columbia was one of three pest control companies that bid on our project to eliminate rodent activity in our crawl space and outside areas. Their price was in the middle of the three. What separated them from the other companies is that they were the only ones to propose traps in the crawl space instead of using poison. Seemed like a no-brainer to me....Who wants rats poisoned and rotting under their house? The tech, Jason, came back weekly to check traps and reload bait stations. He was courteous and knowledgeable. Good experience working with Columbia. I plan to continue on a monthly maintenance program for a few months.
