They were wonderful and great.The little girl was polite, humble, sociable ,delightful and very nice.

The owners are very nice people, however, we could never get one specific team or person assigned to us. I had requested they charge my credit card for the service but at times no charges would be made for months making the bill several hundred dollars. When questioning one of the cleaners about what she was using the clean the kitchen surfaces, she told me she only used water. After several attempts to get things running smoothly, both Peggy Collins and I decided we just weren't a good match for her company. Regarding the last date of service and the monthly charge, these are just guesses on my part. I can't remember the specifics of these numbers.

The cleaning service charges $35.00 per hour.

We used Collin Cleaning for 4 years and up until about 6 months ago, loved them and the work they did. Unfortunately, the quality has slipped dramatically as they went through some personnel changes. For the price we were paying, which up until recently I thought was fair, we just did not feel that we were getting the same level of service and attention to detail that we had come to expect. We have given them all A ratings in the past but just feel that that is no longer the case. Peggy is a wonderful person and was always responsive and tried to rectify the situation but we discontinued working with them after the last cleaning as it was a very poor job.

The team from Collin cleaning always does a great job. I trust them totally to do a professional and thorough cleaning, and I have referred many others to them and received positive feedback from everyone.

Update: 3/19/2012 I recently fired this cleaning services because some of my things have come up missing. The co-owner admitted to stealing medication from my home. I have filed a police report. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

We've used Collin Cleaning for approximately 3 years and have been extremely happy with the service. We've always found them to be professional and accommodating as we have had some situations that have necessitated changing days and/or times or cancelling a particular day altogether. They've had some staffing changes that have required bringing in some new people which has, at times, meant that the house hasn't looked quite as good as when the regular crew comes in. Peggy has been very helpful in making sure that anything that wasn't done correctly is paid attention to on the next visit. All in all we are very happy with their service. I am surprised when I see some of the comments that the price is a bit high; we feel that their pricing is fair and we are happy to pay it knowing that the people coming to our house are part of a family business and trustworthy.

There’s nothing that we disliked about them. They always provide high quality service. They are very easy to work with. Sometimes we have to change our schedules around and they’re very understanding about that. We’ve never had anyone here that we don’t like. I would recommend them to anyone. We will use their services again in the future.

Did a good job on bathrooms and floors, did not even touch my kitchen, left rooms undusted, did not use the products I requested they use and provided for them. Very hard to get a response from them, had to email numerous times, even after being assured they'd get back to me by a certain day/time. They were on time to actually clean, which is why they get a "fair" rating, not a "lousy". When I gave feedback to owner she responded with an explanation that they had new help that wasn't yet trained well, I wasn't clear in listing my top 3 priorities, and that my house was so dusty that the dust "re-settled" after being dusted. She acknowledged my dissatisfaction, but did not offer to correct it.

They are very expensive cleaners. I don’t want to share the pricing, but I can say that they are very competitive. They are like family. They have a great close knit crew. They are always on time. They are always very efficient. We have been using them for over a year now and we are completely satisfied. I would use their services again in the future.

I had the odd experience of loving the company employee, but feeling like the owner wasn't a good worker. We had the owner and one employee make a rough cleaning pass on our really-needed-to-be-cleaned house. Since we set an limit on the number of hours we were willing to pay for, we knew that not everything would get done. That was quite OK. The worker who did the bathroom was excellent. Our bathroom had a faulty fan, and the walls and ceiling were sprinkled with mildew. She worked so hard, non-stop, and at the end the room was perfect. If the owner had been half as good, this would be a glowing review. However, the owner wasn't nearly as good as her employee. For one thing, she spent an inordinate amount of her time on the phone taking business calls. Not cleaning *and* talking on the phone. Just standing stock still in the middle of the kitchen and talking on the phone. That's not really what you want when you're paying by the hour. For another thing, she didn't seem to have a clear sense of what mattered. Again, it had been a long time since we'd done a deep cleaning.. So, we had lots of areas that, if they were cleaned well, would have made the kitchen look 100% better. Instead, she spent a big percentage of her time cleaning the top of the refrigerator. So much time that, at the end, she wasn't able to really clean the floor. I'm sure having a clean top of the refrigerator means something to someone who is obsessively clean. But, for us messy folk, it's one area of the house that doesn't matter at all because *we'd have to stand on our tip toes to see it!*. The floor, on the other hand, is right there in front of us all the time. In the end, I ended up hiring another company (Quality Cleaning) who, for only a little bit more money, brought in a small army and really took everything apart and cleaned it. I wished I'd hired them in the first place.

I purchased an Angie's List special of 4 hours for $70 from Collins Cleaning. Two young ladies arrived exactly on time. I specifically requested for them to concentrate on my hard floors (hardwood and vinyl). Then if they had any time left, they could work on the kitchen or bathroom, their choice. They mopped all my floors and cleaned the kitchen, including the top of the refrigerator and washing the windows. What they did not do was what I most wanted done....scrubbing the corners and edges of the floors where they meet the walls and where the dirt tends to collect. This might have been my fault for not telling them that's what I wanted..... I just assumed they would know that was part of mopping the floors. Overall, I think they were punctual and efficient and they did a good job but not a great job. I'm disappointed I still have to get on my hands and knees and clean the edges of the floors. I'll know better next time to be more specific with my instructions.

I had indicated I was in a hurry so I could get the house listed. They worked with me and made time to do the work. There were two young women that met me at the house to clean. They asked what I needed done and I mentioned it was a bit like a move out clean but not as intensive. I had the house cleaned six months prior and it had been emptied. I stated I just needed general cleaning, the house was mostly dusty. They asked me in several ways what I wanted to have cleaned. They then asked if they could not clean everything what my priorities were. I have never been asked that. I understand what is realistic in regards to time cleaning a house, four hours on a 1700 sq foot empty house. I did not feel what I was asking was unrealistic as the house was empty. I did try to answer as best I could. I explained that the entry area had recently been refinished. There was a bedroom that had also been refinished. I showed them the walls that needed to be dusted because of this. I said the kitchen needed to be clean well in addition to the rust stains on the toilets. They were there for exactly two hours and did not complete all the work. They did not dust the wall as requested, they did not clean the window sills or the kitchen floor. There is a mantle, or marble edge along the fireplace that had not been wiped down. They had wiped the ledge but not the rest of it. They asked if I wanted things done that were part of a general cleaning. They did clean a couple of windows on the inside of the house which was nice of them. I felt as though, without the clutter, the house should have been easy to clean as there is very little furniture in the house.

We have Collin Cleaning Service coming once per month to clean our small 880-sq-ft home (approx). The price noted is for our monthly cleaning; the deep clean that we had them do in May was approx $450. When I called Peggy she answered right away and set up our appointment. We have communicated by phone and email since then to arrange appointments. She is very flexible. The cleaning chemicals they use are mild, and our cat stays in the house while they clean and they wipe up any water/cleaners so that the cat doesn't come into contact with chemicals. We are very pleased with the services provided, and will continue to use this service!

Found out about them from Groupon, where I purchased a four hour house cleaning for $40 (regularly $110). We were hosting a baby shower for a friend and wanted to get the house cleaned beforehand. I called Peggy and she said the first available time was several weeks out. I explained that I had hoped to get the work done before the weekend (it was Monday) and she said Thursday afternoon should work fine. I made arrangements to leave the house key for the crew, since no one would be home. When I got home from work, the house was sparkling. Floors and molding were cleaned and dusted, the upstairs was vacuumed, everything looked great. I had asked that the bathroom walls be washed, but they didn't have time to get to that task. Oh well, there's always next time. Even without the steep discount, this service is a bargain.

I spent $110 on that work and that is for general house cleaning. The do floors, kitchen and bathroom. They also do dusting and vacuuming and they do a great job. They are one of the most thorough cleaners I have used.

They are reasonably priced. They are wonderful professionals. They do a great job. It's like having a friend help me out, and I definitely apprecaite that. You definitely get your money's worth.

They are very responsive. If I call them I get a call back. They are very responsive via email too. They vacuum, dust, and clean bathrooms and so forth. They are always here when they say they would. They come out every two weeks and do excellent work. We are very satisfied with their work.

Peggy and her family spent the whole day doing the deep clean, and the results are amazing. The house was built in 1902, and has a lot of detailed moldings, woodwork, old chandeliers, etc. We thought we'd need to paint the interior of the house after we moved in. After Peggy and company cleaned all the walls and woodwork, it looks great! We might paint eventually, but they removed scuff marks and made the place sparkle. We will also use their service for biweekly cleaning after this.

I love having them come clean our house. They arrived at 9 or so in the morning, and finished some time around 5 in the evening. This was an extensive clean. I initially hired them to help me since I was 9 months pregnant and having difficulty maneuvering. Comically enough, my water broke just as they were finishing up, so it was a couple of days before I could enjoy my newly spotless house. They cleaned from top to bottom, and Peggy and Scott cleaned things that would never have occurred to me to clean. As I said, it was an extensive clean, so now when they arrive every other week they are only here on average 1.5-2 hours.

I was not here when they did it, but I am happy with the cleaning. They were very responsive when I had to change the schedule. Also, when something was missing I reported it, and they were very responsive.
