Classique Floors + Tile

Completed on time , several years ago (2011) and still looks like new, very happy with results.

There was a snafu which slowed the project down, but otherwise great.

Great work. Two workers arrived on time, worked hard all day. Solved a problem with the under flooring needing replacement without delay.

Because of allergies, we needed to replace all of our carpet with 1200 sq ft of a different type of flooring. On our first visit to the store we were assisted by Carly who showed us the numerous options available. She was very personable, knowledgeable and was able to answer our questions. We were surprised that we were allowed to take large samples of flooring home to give us a better idea of how a particular design would look. Once we decided on a product, Megan came to our home to take measurements. We were very impressed with her knowledge and ability to answer our many questions. Once we received our estimate from Megan we decided to go ahead and purchase our floors from Classique Floors. We selected a date for installation and several times before the installers came, we requested some changes and Megan was so patient and worked with us without any hassles. The installers arrived on June 6, a day of record breaking heat and started the 3 day carpet removal and new floor installation. Our condo is on the second floor and it was hot with the need to have the doors open so the workers could go in and out. The next day June 7 was again a day of record heat. Finally on June 8, the installers arrived at 8:15 am and worked nearly non stop until completing the job at 9:30 pm. The installers were wonderful did a beautiful job and we are so glad Megan was able to get them for us. Today we woke up and were in awe of our new floors. Thank you Megan and we are very pleased we purchased our new floors from Classique Floors.

We went to Classique Floors after reading reviews on Angie's List. A project manager, Carly, came over to guide me through my options for the carpet or wood flooring she saw I was having difficulties deciding. She went through the details of the wear and tear, cost, payment options and warranty for both types of flooring. She was very thorough so there were no hidden costs. We save approximately $400 removing the old carpet ourselves. The installation was done in two days first the living area and then bedrooms. We appreciated this because we had to move all the furniture. The installer was very friendly and we found out he had been installing carpet for over 30 years. The job was well done. Carly kept in touch through the whole process and made sure that things were on track. A couple of weeks prior to installation we had to change the date and they accommodated us. We look forward to working with Classique Floors in the future.

My family has used Carly Hill at Classique floors on multiple projects and from start to finish she has always provided the highest level of service. She truly deserves a medal for her consistent & impeccable service. From the initial phone call, through the design phase up and until the materials were installed, Carly was there. Carly, thank you so much for all your patience, expertise, and professionalism. You and your team at Classique Floors are the best!

UPDATE: All my previous issues were resolved and the job looks much better. I blame the Armstrong Vinyl Planks for some of the problems more than the contractors/installers at this point. But still some where installer errors in the first place. The president of the company personally made sure the job was completed and I thank her for that.

We had Classique Floors install vinyl in our kitchen and wall to wall carpet in our newly remodeled 2nd floor and in the stairway. We had used Classique a long time ago for bathroom tile floor and I always remember how well I liked using them. I really liked the service I received from them when I was in the quoting process for both projects. I had found flooring and carpet samples/colors at another store that I liked and they were able to match the price of the same material as they carried the same brands. So keep that in mind if you find samples you like from another company but like the installation price from Classique. Service was great from start to finish: home visit for quote, matching prices, e-mails to set up install to follow-up on how things went. Kitchen vinyl was laid by Carlos and he did a fantastic job. He and Classique were very willing to work with me on logistics ( I removed a small kitchen island for the floor installation and wanted to wait for a new refrigerator to be delivered before placing the island back for the floor back slash to be applied) No problem for Classique to have Carlos come back to do this. John laid the carpet and did a great job and it only took about a day and half for him to do it. Both installers were very nice and easy to work with. I am very pleased with both results. I would not hesitate to have Classique Floors come back the next time I need any type of flooring installed.

After learning of my experience, the owner of Classique contacted me for more information. She then talked with the sales person and the installer. She circled back with me to explain what happened. She offered no excuses and a sincere apology. She indicated my experience is not typical of their client experiences. Having read other reviews, I believe that is true. She offered some assurances if I did choose to use their company for another project. Whether I will or not, I'm not certain at this point. I do appreciate her follow-up and her concern.

This project went quite smoothly. Scott, the salesperson, was able to give us a better price on the same flooring that we had seen at another flooring company. Travis, the installer, was excellent. He had help on a couple of days, but he did a large portion of the floor installation himself. We were impressed by his knowledge and professionalism, as well as his insistence on doing excellent work. He ran into a snag when it turned out that not enough flooring had been ordered, so the project was delayed for a short time while more was procured. He made the extra effort and came in on a Sunday morning so that he could finish installing our floor while he was involved in another major installation project, and we appreciated his commitment.

Timely, responsive, communicative and fair pricing. Installers were top notch, both in terms of installation and customer relations. Bo doubt it, a good deal.

Owner helped me select remnant piece of marmoleum that worked very well with birdshell blue of bathroom walls. Pricing was good and personal attention given to choices within my price range. Very attentive and helpful.

we bought and had installed a laminate floor in our family room the sale person was fantastic they put in half of the floor in one day but my husband notice there was a pattern to the tile and they had laid it out wrong they where not too happy to have to take up the tile again and re installed it the correct way but it was done at no extra cost to us

First, I want to say that this wasn't the first time we used this company. They are all in all a good company, and over all the process went(mostly) well. However there were a couple of misses with the salesperson. He was very nice but didn't always return our calls in a timley manner. Also we ordered a special edge for our floor which took many months to actually get. Then it didn't work, so my husband actually put it in himself (with some adjustments unaccounted for in the beginning). Themfloor looksnice.

delays in doing work, sales person never made contact after job started or ended, back splash contract sub-workmanship (backsplash was wavy), only good portion of remodel was with countertops.

Perfectly-a person came out to my house and told me what to do to get started when my dishwasher leaked-told me who to call for removing old flooring and drying out underneath.Very helpful,since we had no idea how bad water damage is!

When Classiique Floors did the work at my house it was the third time my floors had been refinished--first time by Classique. It was the worst job I've experienced. I had to call them back at least 3 times as I recall to fix mistakes--they missed spots with the finish and they were sloppy around the edges. I had them install hardwood in a coat closet which was done very poorly. The floor has a lift up door to my crawlspace. The door was poorly made with gaps around the edges. It also was not made correctly and was lower than the rest of the floor so they had to fix that. They did not sand the floor in the closet and it felt like sandpaper when they said they were done. I had to sand it down myself to make it acceptable. They always came back when I asked them to but I was not happy with their work and would never recommend them to others. I did not pay for the refinishing work--Classique was contracted through a third party that had damaged my floors when they came to my home to do some work in the crawlspace. I did pay for the hardwood installation in the closet, actually I paid for half of the work--half before they started and they never asked for the remainder. They knew how unhappy I had been with therir work so that was fine by me.

Classique Floors did a great job - they were timely and the carpet layers were excellent. They were polite and left the house clean and neat. They cleaned up after themselves when they were finished. The carpet was quality . I would definitely use them again.

The salesman, Mark Harron, came to the house and spent 30 minutes measuring and evaluating the job. His estimate was very detailed, and he provided a line item report with different job possibilities and their cost. There was a concern with the condition of the kitchen floor, so he came out again once we agreed to the initial estimate to make sure the costs would be accurate. The installer, Mario Morales, came to deliver the product before installation. At all times he and his assistant, Wilmer, were on-time, professional, friendly, and courteous in all communications. Very easy to work with. The install took three days, including moving furniture and appliances, as well as pulling and reinstalling a toilet. We were very happy with the job. After a week, I had questions about the floor, and Mario returned to review the job and make sure the concerns were addressed.

We just signed a contract with Flooring America. Patrick, the sales representative has been very flexible, he answered any of our questions immediately and we changed out flooring options a couple of times trying to get the price cheaper and he was just real helpful with that.

Classique was able to install the desired floor, with coving around the edges, when we needed it. They did the job in the time agreed to in a fairly efficient manner This included a new plywood subfloor installed at their suggestion. Then the problems began. Subsequent to the installation, within months, parts of the floor lifted, parts of the border separated at several spots where there were seams and in one location a staple they used to install the subfloor began to come up and caused a bump in the Marmoleum. Several calls to Classique were made before they returned, and repaired the lifted areas and used a flat iron to force the staple back down. Some of the other problems were repaired and then I was told that the seam separations could be repaired by myself using putty from a hardware store., as the installer didn't have the right material with him . I asked about whether the staple was going to re-emerge and was told that since we had an 'old floor' there was nothing they could do to prevent that. (I had been told by others that screws should have been used). I was dissapointed that they would not repair the separated seams and that they could not prevent the staple from re-emerging. I called again for a repair as the staple re-emerged, and after several attempts, the store called back with one day's notice to offer to have the same installer return the next day. Since I could not re arrange my schedule on such short notice I could not do the service then. Shortly thereafter, the staple came through the floor and now we have a small hole in the middle of the field where the staple was. Since I had made many calls to try to get this resolved and had a less than satisfactory response from the installer on his return. I was not ready to make a number of extra calls to try to get the problem fixed and did not call them back. We were initially pleased with the floor, then quite disappointed with their follow up service. I felt that after the original installation was done, getting our floor problems being resolved were a far second priority to new work since it took my repeated efforts to get attention to the issue. In the end I still have separation in a few spots in the border stip, and a small hole in the middle of the field from the staple. Update: 9/24/2013 I received a call from the store manager in August after my review. They clearly wanted to resolve my complaints with the work. The manager came out and inspected the floor. We discussed repairs and scheduling. After some consideration of their schedule and mine, we agreed on today for the repair. I called them to confirm the repair this morning and the team arrived in late morning. The repairs were completed and it definitely looks better, if not as good as new. The repair is noticeable on close inspection, but not at a casual glance. I did point out a spot where it appears another staple may be coming up and would eventually come through the floor. They used a flat object and the staple was pushed back down. They did not disagree that it may come back up and we may be in need of another repair in the future and described how they would force it back down without damaging the floor should I wish to do it. They also repaired an area where there was slight damage to the floor, and they re-glued the border strip which was coming loose. All these repairs may have to be repeated if they aren't durable, as previous repairs weren't, so time will tell. The team was efficient and left the area the way it was when they arrived. I appreciate the stores intent to repair the problem and make the floor as good as possible at the store's expense. I appreciate that this repair happened on the day we scheduled it to happen. I will watch the floor for signs of recurring problems and for durability of the repair. Update 10/7/2013 Increased my responsiveness grade to "B" based on the return visit and the follow up call to see if I was happy with the result. Can't make it any better given the original experience.

It went phenomenally well. The salesperson, Mark Herron, was truly fantastic. He was responsive, thoughtful, polite, knowledgeable and proactive. He brought samples to my office so I didn't have to drive out to the store, he brought an extra sample I hadn't asked for because he thought I should look at it (and it was the one I ultimately chose) and he worked up my project from home after having been in a car accident because he didn't want there to be a hold up on my project. Seriously, phenomenal! He kept me updated during the installation and prepared me for a few minor hiccups. The installation team got the work accomplished in one day and stayed until 7:00 p.m. in order to do so. They cleaned up after themselves and left the house looking great. I truly couldn't have been happier.

From my first phone call, the staff at Classique were AMAZING. I'm a really visual person so they invited me down to the show room so that I could touch and feel everything. I was clear from the beginning that we were working with a fairly limited budget but unlike a couple of other showrooms I visited, that didn't seem to affect Linda's demeanor at all. She explained the different types of wood laminate that were available and then spent the next hour looking at various samples. Yes, you read that right-- an entire hour. We pulled out at least ten different samples and she hummed and hawed along with me, comparing the tones. She ran back and forth checking on prices and availability of product. There was one that I liked that had been on sale that she even offered to give me the sale price on. And then she sent me off with five different samples so that I could take them home and compare them in the light of my home and see how they matched the tone of my mantle. The rest of the experience was the same way. We took a while to make a decision and the floor that we were initially leaning toward was discontinued. Linda called warehouses all over the country to see if any stock was left (it wasn't). She then brought out a couple of newer samples and helped me narrow it down. What we ended up choosing was her recommendation and I decided just to trust her, knowing that she'd seen many more finished projects than I had. She was totally right. Even though it was darker than I'd wanted to go it looks absolutely amazing and doesn't close the space as I had worried it might. The installation was the same way. The first two days there were four guys to help pull out all of our carpet. They were really patient with me as I checked in and moved so quickly that our entire house (about 1500 square feet) was clear by the afternoon. I was so, so glad then that we'd hired them instead of trying to do it ourselves. They worked like a well oiled machine, in two pairs, matching up the wood and literally running back and forth. By the end of the first day the first third of the house was lain. The second day was the same. The hard part was done and so there were only two guys, but they stayed until almost 7 pm finishing the job. And there were a few extra things that they did that really went the extra mile. Our bathroom door was just a smidge too long/tall and I was thinking that they would just leave it off the hinges for us to fix. But when I came back into the house a few minutes later, they'd taken it off the hinges and were sanding down the bottom to give it the leeway that it needed. "We called Classique," they said, "and they told us to just take care of it." And then there were a couple of tricky corners with the trim that they cut, started to install, and then pulled out and recut because it wasn't precise enough for them. As someone who pays an incredibly close to details, I was thrilled because I knew that those areas would have bothered me. They even left the extra couple of boxes so that if we needed to have additional wood later to use for touchups, we wouldn't have to worry about trying to find a matching product. All in all, I was more than impressed. They worked with a tight budget, were incredibly kind, patient, and thorough, and left us with a beautiful floor that I love.

Flooring America are absolutely outstanding. They worked with me on price, they worked with me on picking out something that would work and look good. Debbie came out to the house to help with the selection, Micah, the owner came out to measure and they have been very involved. The flooring is going to be installed on the 20th. I couldn't say enough good things about them.
