Don was great to work with. From the beginning, his pricing was very fair compared to a few other bids I received. He went above and beyond, using extra gravel on our dirty driveway to level it out properly, and also making driveway extra wide in a few key spots, without any additional charges from the initial quote. I felt like he really cared about doing the best job possible and honoring his original quote. I was incredibly impressed with how quickly and efficiently Don and team worked. Our driveway is not easily accessible, but they managed to unload equipment quickly and safely without disrupting traffic or upsetting neighbors. They worked straight for 3.5 hours. We're very happy with our new driveway. They exceeded our expectations, and I would gladly call Don again for any future work.

I needed my old asphalt driveways torn out and replaced. They came out on time and did a good job, but with minor flaws. The boss called back two days later and said he was not happy with the results. He and his 6 man crew came out and put another layer over the entire driveway (3600 sq ft) It looks fantastic

I spent the summer of 2017 being stood-up time after time by another company, dealing with their answering service, and rarely talking to actual employees. When I did talk to employee they never seemed to know what was going on in their company. I heard of Checkered Flag Asphalt from another satisfied customer. I called them and the owner, Don, actually answered the phone. The next day he showed up, looked over the work, and scheduled it for the next week. That booking had to be rescheduled because of rain, but on the second scheduled date Don and his crew showed up. They finished the work quickly and professionally, and their work looks great. I would have no hesitation using them again, or recommending them to anyone.

Don and son Sid and crew were great. They are very busy so we had to wait on the schedule a bit but with the conscious, thorough job they did the wait was well worth it. I would highly recommend these guys again

I called 5 paving places looking for someone to do this fairly small job. Pave a 3 lane wide driveway that is about 80ft long. 3 responded and did bids. Checkered flag was the best price by $2,000+ They did have good reviews so we went with them. They scheduled the job for 1 week after I called to confirm. They then moved the job up by 1 day because of the rain affecting their removal of the sod. They did the whole job in that one day. I went to the job site to inspect the work. Everyone was attentive and professional. The job turned out exactly like we wanted. I cannot comment yet on how it will hold up but it looks great after a couple of weeks. I would hire them again. They were responsive, cost effective, professional and did the job on time and to spec.

Don was prompt in providing a quote, and he came in the low bidder. His crew promptly arrived and worked really hard to clean and prepare the parking lot. They did such a good job preparing the surface. They finished on time, even though they had to stay late to complete the work. The next day the striping crew came and completed the job. I can't enough how pleased I am with his work and attention to detail.
