There were no unexpected issues. They did a great job. I would tell a friend or a family member that they do good work. They are professional and they are on time so hire them.

Troy at Century Electric is wonderful! We recently purchased a house in Milwaukie. I had a laundry list of things that I wanted done. The largest most complicated task on my list was replacing the old electrical box, which had been noted by our home inspector as an brand used a lot in the 60s-70s that had a high failure rate. It was suggested on the home inspection that it be replaced. In addition I had light fixtures that I wanted disconnected/removed/relocated, ones I wanted switched out with newer fixtures, and new recessed lighting installed. I also had Troy replace all the outlets in the house with new tamper resistant outlets (The existing outlets were original 1960's and had been used so much plugs were loose/falling out. I have two very curious young children and didn't want to take a risk). An additional outlet was added outside as well as updating two existing. And last but not least the bathroom ventilation fan in one bathroom was replaced/updated while a new one was installed in the second bathroom that had none. Troy did all of this work in 3.25 days! He is a great communicator, keeping me informed as to what his plan for the day was, and when power would be out. This is very important to me since I am a stay at home mom with two kids and a large dog. Troy was flexible and considerate of us being around he didn't have the luxury of working in an empty house! Troy was impeccably clean, you would never have known he cut holes in the living room ceiling to install the new recessed lights! Troy is very willing to talk to you and help you determine what is the best option for you as it pertains to fixture location, switch location, etc. Troy was great and if we need any additional electrical work done we will be going to right back to him!

We discussed needs and work schedule and what would be required. Troy and crew showed up on time, worked within time schedule and completed job in a professional manner. Each day, before leaving, they made sure work areas were cleaned up and that things were safe and working. Troy kept us informed of progress and what the next step would be and when. The new wiring has eliminated electrical problems and the whole house smoke alarm has given us peace of mind that the entire building is protected. I recommend Troy at Century Electric.
