+ -1 moreIt went very well. First we had shopped around and had determined that the quoted price was a good price for reliable quality cleaning. Ronna called to tell us that the lining had come loose from our rather elderly drapes and quoted a reasonable price for repair. (They do small repairs at no charge, but this was to be more work.) She called before cleaning any additional panels to be sure that we wanted to continue in the event that other panels also needed repair. They also held onto the drapes for us for a month until we were ready to put them up in our newly purchased home. Another nice feature is that they remove and replace the hooks from draw drapes.
Description of Work: We had five ceiling to floor draw drapes cleaned--a total of 86 pleats.

Description of Work: Our church has 15 large windows, 10 facing east and 5 facing west, in our parish hall. We looked at 3 different companies; one was priced way higher than the other two. Those two had prices that were nearly the same. We chose Cash's Drapery because we liked their responsiveness to our needs and are a local company. We asked Cash's Drapery to install roller shades on the 10 east facing windows. (The other 5 windows need work before we install shades.) The installer arrived a bit early and had all 10 shades installed within an hour. The one thing he did not do was to remove some old brackets (this was included in the work order). A call to the office had the owners coming out to make sure that the brackets got removed that same day.

Description of Work: The Cash's team came to my home to remove and clean two full length patio door size luminette sheers. They were very dirty from floor vented heating. They did an extraordinary job cleaning the blinds (ran 2X)via ultrasonic cleaning. Much improved - and much better job than the in home service I previously used. I'll use again.

+ -1 moreI have some older Del Mar blinds in my home that need re-stringing from time to time. (Del Mar is now out of business). I was taking broken blinds to another business, who is no longer in my neighborhood. I looked on Angie's list and located Cash's in SE Portland. I took the old blind over there for re-stringing. The woman at the counter is very friendly and knowledgeable. They did the repair in a couple days. They could not match the string color to the blind because of how old the blind is, but it really looks fine.
Description of Work: I had a Del Mar blind that needed to be restrung. Cash's did the repair work in about two days.

+ -1 moreMike and his helper came on time and worked efficiently together and installed the blinds. According to Mike the blinds were not delivered to the company as fast as he thought they would so that delayed the installation by several days.

+ -1 moreI took a full length Gerber fabric door blind to Cash for cleaning and restringing if they thought that was necessary. They recommended against the restringing, saying the string was not sufficiently worn to warrant replacement. They did replace the gadget that the string winds through, as it was broken so the string snagged at lowering or lifting. This part cost $10.00, the cleaning $25.00. The job was done within 5 days and the blind cleaned as well as could be expected. I have 3 window blinds of same fabric that need to go next.

+ -1 moreThe entire process was extremely easy. The installation went off without any problems. Mike even had his crew install some drapes that we bought as a courtesy. We have received many compliments on the treatments from friends, family and visitors to our home.
Description of Work: We moved into a newly constructed home and had Mike come out to give us an estimate and idea as to what we could do with different styles of window treatments. Mike was very insightful and provided us with great ideas that we followed. We had numerous windows throughout the house. We did a combination of wood blinds, roman shades, and custom drapery made by Cash's in their shop.

+ -1 moreI called and made an apt. When they were 1 hour late called again. The person on the telephone had no explanation. Called after another 30 minutes. Still no explanation for the late service call or help. I can understand someone running late but with cell telephones so available there is no reason not to call a customer and explain that you will be late.

+ -1 moreThis was a scheduled appointment which was kept on time. The time was taken to assess all of our needs. We were very pleased with the personal interaction. The shades were removed and we were asked about "our" time frame for the return of the cleaned shades. These were returned in a timely manner and met all of our expectations. The technician was superior in the rehang and even corrected what the original installer had not done well. He also was very sharing with information on how to maintain our mini-blinds. Wonderful experience- so glad we called this professional company!
