CARPET OUTLET

I found Gary Aldinger on Angie's List. He came over to measure our basement for a carpet installation and recommended going to the Carpet Outlet. It's not a fancy place, but what the store lacks in aesthetics is made up by the staff. Rick's primary goal was for me to be happy with my purchase and to save me money. I told him I wasn't looking to spend a great deal of money because the carpet was going into the basement. He pointed me to the back of the store where the remnants were. I didn't find one I like and placed an order for some carpeting I did like. He explained to me that the company was based in Canada and would take either one week or up to five weeks depending on their supply. The carpet arrived within two weeks of placing the order. Rick and his crew were delightful to talk to and have known Gary Aldinger (our carpet installer) for years. I am very happy with the services provided!

I have used this dealer twice. The first time was wonderful and flawless. This time there were too many problems to ignore. They misquoted the price by $300, they showed up 5 hrs late with no phone call to explain. They could not finish the job on the scheduled day. The gentlemen who answers the phones lacks customer service skills. I voiced these concerns with the company and he did discount the price by $100. I would say that the installers who actually did the work, did an awesome job, the floor looks great.

I have purchased carpet from these folks twice now. The first time was a great experience, easy and the prices are outstanding. The second time was even better. Sherry was fantastic with us in carpet and pad selection and even made suggestions on what we should be looking at and where it was located in their rolls. After contemplating the purchase for a day or so, we called to schedule the appointment and they worked with us to arrange the perfect installation time line based on need. The installation went great, they did a fantastic job, I didn't realize how much work goes into carpet installation, but I was very impressed with the work and the professionalism displayed. I don't know if they have large quantities like for a whole house, but regardless, they should definitely be on your list of places to check!!
