1/20/15 I do not recommend this apartment The former onsite managers here were quite supportive. On the positive side the maintenance team who have always been helpful and problems have been dealt with in a friendly and efficient manner. Until this recent change in management my experience had been reasonably good. Problems were settled in a effective manner. Mutual concerns were discussed amicably. The most recent change in management is for the worse. It is regrettable that things have gone downhill so quickly. I believe that there is a lack of true concern for tenants issues. I believe management to be both biased and uncooperative. When I have approached the onsite manager with an issue I have been treated like an adversary rather than someone to be supported and acknowledged . In my opinion, management is more concerned with her own problems then any issue you may have. The autocratic atmosphere is pervasive . We have had several issues that could have been dealt with in a adult, reasonable and responsible manner but instead were met with a negative attitude by the manager and so far the the corporate body she fervently serves ...I have attempted to communicate with the corporate management (Carla Properties) in Portland the nature of my difficulties. They have listened but so far I have not received any response. I have written them on one other occasion and also received no response or incomplete response The apartments are in need of remodeling, especially the rugs. The recreation room cannot be conveniently accessed. It is locked and tenants must sign out for a key. Previously in had been a communal place to visit with other tenants. Rents have increased rapidly in the past 2 years especially. One can do better I am sure than Evanbrook Cornell Manor Hope this review has been helpful Wishing you a good day
