+ -1 more*2014 UPDATE*: I’m not easily impressed or pleased, and ~ This is a 4+ and 5 Star "As good as it gets!" store with EXCELLENT SERVICE BOTH DURING AND AFTER THE SALE! RE: 2013 (See previous Review) and Jan 2014 I/we've been there 7, 8, maybe 9 times, getting the items/work done a little at a time. Wife 1) New Radio, 2) Blue tooth hook-up. Me: 1) New Radio/Nav w/everything, 2) Back-up and side camera's, 3) LED lighting inside front/back and under, 4) Complete/Full Detail (w/my Black SUV and *NO* swirl marks), and side camera adjustment, then lastly 5) Yep! lol…Just had to have the LED Color Side Running Lights too (and get compliments ALL the time). and ~ To my amazement, the wife even likes them :) I/we've worked w/Steve/In-Store Sales, Kevin/Shop Install Supervisor, and Brad/Installer. These 3 are GREAT! (Sorry, Don't know the others personally), however… We've waited in the store, we have observed others, and have heard other customers. We've heard MANY compliments and MANY appreciation/Thank You's. This store has some of the very BEST employee's I/we've ever seen. Our opinion: GREAT staff! Do yourself a favor. Plz go and check them out ~ first. Then decide :) We have nothing but EXCELLENT things to say about this store, Steve, Kevin, Brad, and all the other hard-working, **dedicated to your satisfaction** employee's, and have received GREAT service each and EVERY TIME ~ even after the sale. You’re never ignored :) and lastly: OK… I gotta tell ya, sooo many neat guy (ok grrll too) toys, and Hey! You’re only young once (and trust me, I know) and (at my age, I think I remember) lol… Enjoy! :) Larry
Description of Work: This provider, CarToys 82nd. Portland, OR has continued to give me/us 5-Star/the best there is :) EXCELLENT Service. Steve/In Store Sales, Kevin/Shop Install Supervisor, and Brad/Installer are Fantastic ! :) I'm old and picky... lol... and everything they've done to both our vehicles, I'll give them a solid/consistant straight A+, and coming from me, this is a VERY high compliment. Kudo's to ALL..!!... Thank you! Actually it was actually kind of a fun buying experience. Steve is really a VERY impressive/knowledgeable guy.

+ 1 moreFirst, I liked that they could do all the things I wanted done, in one place. I didn't have to go to different shops to get different jobs done. Second, they did all the jobs very well. I have no problems with their work. Third, they were professional, courteous, and timely. They did everything within the given time frame, and called to let me know the car was ready. Finally and most importantly for me, they were willing to negotiate. Since I had several jobs I wanted done, they first offered a discount. When I came back the next day with my own offer, they were willing to go with it. Very well done, overall.
Description of Work: polished headlights, took out old radio and installed new one, exterior polish and wax, and replaced car alarm.

Description of Work: If you're looking for an Auto Stereo, Installation, and/or Auto Custom Lighting, I am a customer and I highly recommend Car-Toys SE 82nd Store 1 block N of King Rd. Clackamas/Portland, OR. Ph#: (503) 788-5777 and ask for "Steve Taylor". I seldom recommend anything. A couple months ago I purchased a 4 year old black SUV. I told the salesman I wanted a back-up and side camera’s. He told me to go out to Car-Toys on 82nd. He said they do excellent work and for a factory General Motors camera (stamped GM and coming in a marked GM box) would be double the price and half the size of an after market. I called Car-Toys and talked to “Steve”. He seemed VERY knowledgeable re product information, comparisons, prices, etc so we drove to the store and talked to him in person. Steve really knows his stuff and got me a great price on a radio with AM/FM, HD FM, Satellite, Blue Tooth, Navigation, CD, and could easily hook up to a camera. The Installers did a fantastic job putting it in, and when we went to pick it up, Steve spent quite as bit of time explaining how it worked and said if we had a question, call him or stop by anytime. Great service! Then a couple weeks later I talked to Steve again about LED lighting on the floors in both the front and back, plus I had them put LED lighting under my SUV. Again; GREAT installation! Then I asked him about their Detail service. The last time I had another black SUV detailed on the outside, it had swirl marks all over it. It looked terrible. I told Steve about my prior experience and he said they take swirls out. I had them polish it and then put a sealer over the top. It is suppose to last a year. When I picked it up, with the new stereo, 2 camera’s, multiple color LED lighting inside and out, and the polish/sealer (and no swirl marks) ~ I’m picky about my vehicle and D it looks nice! I get compliments everywhere I go. If you’re also picky about your vehicle and expect a GREAT job for a good/fair price, go to Car-Toys on 82nd and talk to Steve. You’ll be happy you did! GREAT shop crew! Larry

+ -1 moreCAR TOYS INSTALLATION TOOK A LITTLE LONGER THAN WE HAD EXPECTED, BUT THEY DID THE JOB VERY WELL AND WE ARE VERY PLEASED WITH THEIR INSTALLATION. WE WILL GO BACK TO THEM AGAIN.
