Callaway & Callaway Hauling

Our law firm retained Callaway & Callaway Hauling to assist us in breaking down, packing, and hauling a deceased individual's apartment space. Michael Callaway was very organized and worked with property management to determine the most efficient route to go in/out of the apartment, and down to the parking structure with. The team was able to park their truck right outside the parking structure which made it easy for transport. The apartment was on the 4th floor, and we had to go uphill to get out of the parking structure each time, so it was not the easiest move. Brady and Kyle worked together to haul most of the apartment out. They were so kind, eager to help, hard-working, and we could not have done this move without them. The team came prepared with all supplies, tools, and equipment, which made the move a lot easier as well. It was very clear to us that they are all very experienced which produced great results. I called yesterday and Michael answered the phone right away. That alone was impressive, since I'd called another hauling service and left a message, but they never got back to me. Michael was very friendly and helpful and worked me right into his schedule--he told me they'd be here the very next morning (today). This morning Michael called ahead to let me know they were running about 30 minutes late, but they soon arrived and took away a small pile of construction debris, an old door, and several black garbage bags full of miscellaneous junk. They couldn't have been nicer and the service was certainly affordable! Michael also let me know that if I'd forgotten anything, to give him a call since he's often in my area (Beaverton) and there's no minimum to the amount of stuff he'll haul away, so it can be a small item. Needless to say, I will recommend Callaway to everyone and use them again in the future!

Two strong men, a truck, and same day service--it doesn't get better than that! This is the second time that I used Michael Callaway's services, and I couldn't be more pleased. I needed two heavy, bulky, awkward items moved 20 miles across town from one house to another. I wasn't strong enough to do it myself, and they wouldn't fit in my car. Michael and his helper came to my rescue promptly and efficiently. The charge was more than I expected, but was due to travel time and distance. I highly recommend Callaway & Callaway Hauling without any reservation.

I was not home but my husband said they were on time and took everything. Compared to some of the other quotes they were reasonable.

The job was phenomenal in every way. Mike arrived promptly at the designated time to give me a bid. I hired him on the spot. He had a window of time available to do the work immediately. While he waited for his partner, Leon, to arrive with a monster truck, Mike cleared out the garage items, swept up a pile of fir needles in the driveway, and even carried boxes of packed household items to my car. He and Leon couldn't have been nicer, more respectful of the property, or worked harder.The price was reasonable. The job that they performed was outstanding. I highly recommend this company. I definitely will hire them again.

Excellent, friendly and a fair price.

They were prompt in coming out and giving me a bid and then hauled everything away a few days later. I was so impressed and would recommend them for anyone needing junk to be hauled away. They even called to see if the job was completed to my satisfaction.

The job went well. The guy and his daughter who showed up to do the work were very nice and they got the work done. There was confusion over whether the quote included tearing down a fence (the quote included it, but it wasn't communicated to the crew), but if we did the labor, they were willing to haul it for us and they took the fence portion off of the bill.

Michael called me back on Sunday a few hours after I left a message. He was friendly and professional. He showed up 1/2 hour early and was done very quickly. They cleaned and swept after hauling. I will definitely use them again.

Cleaned up a couple piles of garbage in yard and garage - and even cleaned out some from my overflowing recycle bin to give me extra space. Friendly and showed up right on time.

The entire experience was very positive. Mike responded the same day to my request. He came out the following day to give me an estimate, and we scheduled the job the same week. Mike arrived early, and completed the job in 2 hours. My interaction with Mike and his helper was professional, and I highly recommend his services.

Mr. Callaway showed up said he would haul it away for the price and it was done the next day. He left the invoice and it was done--very smooth.

I called on a Thursday almost right at closing. They got me schedule for Saturday and got the whole job done. We have used them before, but this was out largest job to date. We encountered a yellow jacket nest in the yard and they even had spray to take care of it! They are prompt, professional and work their tales off. They had to break down all sorts of old rotted yard fencing and structures. They had every tool needed. I would hire them again in a heart beat! It was a more than fair price for all that they hauled away.

Michael did a fantastic job! He promptly returned my initial call, and I was scheduled for the next day! He came exactly when he said he would (and I had a very tight window of time). He was careful and conscientious in getting the items out of the house, and even honored the Angie's List coupon despite the fact that the timing was so quick. I'll definitely call Michael again and recommend him to others!

I sent a message through Angie's List on a Sunday. They replied Monday and the service was scheduled for Wednesday. They arrived on time, worked very quickly and were very nice. I highly recommend them.
