When assembled in the cabinet, it sounded terrible. I understood there no returns were allowed, but asked if he would be willing to buy any of it back for less. “No. It has no value.” A quick check on Ebay proved that to be correct. The unit I paid $300 for was offered for sale on Ebay for less than $20.

Over our 6 years in the area, Burlingame Radio & TV has worked on several of our electronic appliances with results that were highly satisfactory. From cleaning to actual repair, we have been pleased with the work and its very reasonable price. Most important, Todd's honesty is of the caliber you'd only expect to find on a homey TV show like Andy Griffith. He assessed a TV of ours that had died, tried fixing it, and concluded that it was irreparable. He accepted no payment for his labor, insisting he'd only charge if he had fixed the item, and had to be pressed to even take reimbursement for the parts he'd used in his repair attempt! Such integrity is exceptional.

The overall experience has been very positive and the cost reasonable and competitive, despite the considerable additional cost of (very carefully) packing and mailing antique table top and clock radios half way across the country. Burlingame Radio and TV has provided consistently good quality service. In the rare instance when there has been a question, the company has always responded positively to resolve a minor issue. Without hesitation, I would recommend the company to other antique radio collectors for repair and restoration services.

THE REPAIRMAN CHECKED IT OUT AND IMMEDIATELY KNEW WHAT WAS WRONG. IT WAS A COMMON PROBLEM WITH THE BRAND OF TV WE HAD. IT WAS A FACTORY PARTS PROBLEM AND WOULD GIVE THE TV A TROUBLE FREE 'NEW LIFE.' HE CALLED US AND THEN REPAIRED IT. WE NOW HAVE A 'BRAND NEW' TV FOR $150 DOLLARS.
