About us
Budget Granite Countertops & Cabinet LLC. The name to remember when it comes to granite kitchen countertop and vanity. Our granite import from all over the world, such as China, India and Brazil. We have approximately fifty colors to choose from in stock and we only work with the best quality granite.
Every project we handle is carried out by our in-house professional staff not subcontractors. We offer complete turn-key solutions which mean we take care all of the demolition, installation, finishing & clean up.
Our showrooms are developed to enhance your shopping experience to the fullest potential.
Our goal is to provide the very best service for all our customer.
After researching many options for new kitchen cabinets (Ikea, Ikea with custom fronts, Cliq studios, custom cabinets... And more), I went to Budget Granite. Norman was super responsive, full of good suggestions for our project, and flexible when the DIY portion of the remodel got behind schedule. The service level and customization were far above any of the other products I researched, and at a competitive price. The kitchen cabinets are custom color, have soft-close doors and drawers, all wood construction, and Budget installed the door handles/drawer pulls I purchased elsewhere. Norman and team work with multiple local granite dealers and we found our dream slab! The install team teams were detail oriented and professional. I'm THRILLED with the final product and will definitely use them again.

I would have rated them higher, but while I was outside moving my car so they could get their truck in my driveway, another worker came into my house, upstairs, used my restroom without flushing the toilet, how did I know this? Well one, the urine in the toilet, and two, he left the light on.

Working with Norman and Sharon was so easy. They are not pushy and want to help you create the space that you want. I was surprised by going in on a Saturday and being scheduled the next week or so - very timely but yet the installers were not rushed at all. In fact, they took extra time because they said the template was a little off and they wanted to make sure it had the best fit. It is a very small kitchen and it took 4 hours - no breaks, no food, working constantly. They were respectful of my home and flooring and cleaned up everything before they left. I even got some great advice on adding a back splash. I feel good supporting a local company that still believes in customer service and would use and recommend them to anyone. By the way, they will quote you the price at the store and they did not increase it one bit even though I think it required more work than expected.

First, I have to say I was impressed with the responsiveness of Norman and Sharon when I first came into their store. Using just the photos I had they provided me with a ballpark cost for the kitchen. I hadn't planned on being able to afford to do the bathroom too. Both Norman & Sharon know there business inside & out and made suggestions that I would have never thought of. I'd never redone a kitchen before. They had a sampling of granite at their store but sent me down to their granite supplier to pick out what I wanted. My selection was marked and held for me for 3 weeks until I closed on my home and could get Norman in to do a template. I had him measure the bathroom while he was at in just in case. After making a few modifications on what I wanted I was provided with a invoice for $3,800 to do both the kitchen and the bathroom. I expected the bill to be at least that much for just the kitchen. I also changed out the profile of my kitchen counters by adding a slide in range. That meant the counter could be in 2 pieces rather than one which was a cost savings. It took a week to fabricate my countertops and the installers showed up on time. The kitchen took longer to install because I was using an under-mount sink. My sink was bigger than the cabinet and they asked permission to trim it out. They could have done that without asking but they were very conscientious of what I wanted. I did my best to stay out of there way but a couple times I asked about things that didn't seem right and they assured me they were still in the process of making adjustments and there wouldn't be an issue with them. True to their word the end product is amazing! The bathroom was simpler because I chose a drop in sink. They cut the sink opening on site and the bathroom was done in what seemed like minutes. After both counters were installed they were cleaned, repeatedly, and sealed twice. In between each sealing there was a 40 minute wait time in which they explained to me how to care for my new countetops. When they were done they left me a couple of good size pieces. One I used to search for backsplash. The other is large enough to use as a tabletop between my patio chairs. I think I appreciated Sharon, Norman & the installers' patients with my questions and my ever changing schedule. They were all nice people, with a sense of humor, and a commitment to doing the best work. My countertops are beautiful and I'm thrilled with the service Budget Granite Countertops folks provided.

Perfect fit the first time. I gave them the schematics of the sink and the dimensions of the vanity. It was ready on the date agreed upon, staff very helpful. I would definitely use again. Only hesitation would be limited selection of granite to choose from.

From the moment we arrived in the shop until the installation was complete, we were impressed. We were given help with our choices by friendly, knowledgeable people. They even gave us tips on doing the demo of our old countertop ourselves. We got the sinks we wanted, too! Everybody was friendly and professional. Would definitely recommend.

Norman and Sharon's shop designed, built and installed cabinets and beautiful matte finish granite counter tops. Their shop on SE Division does the actual manufacturing so they can build to your exact needs minimizing wasted space. They are wonderful to work with, clear, always pleasant and diligent in working through the issues that always arise in a building project. They also did a bathroom going along with my design idea of hanging the cherry cabinets in the new modern fashion. They helped me find a wonderful stone remanent and sink and then modified it for our needs from their bone yard. Also in a small bathroom they built a tall bathroom cabinet with unique storage options on both sides that gives some privacy to the toilet area. A great place for granite and cabinets and my second time using them on a remodel. I'll come back again.

We were getting exhausted searching for the right cabinet and Granite countertop. What we found is you either have to special order (>$500 and 3-6 weeks) or you can get a semi-decent $350 plywood style generic cabinet made out of China and assembled in the US. As for Granite most companies want to sell you a bigger slab than you need (not too expensive) then charge you for each cut and hole: $100 for sink hole, $25 for faucet, $50 other cuts, $50 mounting sink, etc. In the end you are out about $200 for cutting and mounting a sink without any granite. Add in another $400 for that! The secret is to work with places that have Granite remnants which you can select from. When we came to Budget Granite Countertops (BGC) we had pretty much reach the end of our researched options. I wasn't expecting much but when we spoke with Norman and found out they make vanities and they do it on site and it would only take a couple of weeks we were sold. Norman showed us the options (we selected Shaker style, alderwood and stain #17). We saw they had true plywood construction and the cabinets were WELL BUILT. We got specialized cabinet with 6 drawers at 42" in width--almost no one will make this style due to the width of the drawers. It was custom made to fit our oval sink too--just right. The price for this was $735. As for Granite, we would select a remnant the right size (we selected 2cm, tropical green) and that would add $300 to the cost and include all the cutting--we just need to provide a template and the sink. SOLD. We worked with Norman and Sharon when Norman wasn't around during our various visits: drop off sink and HW, pick up cabinet, return with template, pick up granite, etc. We had them build two cabinets for us and would DEFINITELY use them again. They were very quick, patient and responded to our e-mails. They also were able to quickly provide us with the granite after delivering a template (2-3 days). We used them over Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays and both times they were able to deliver on time despite the holidays. If you need something customer we can highly recommend going to BGC and speaking with Norman and Sharon.
Description of Work: Made a custom cabinet and also provided us a selection of granite to choose from for the countertop.

Sharon was fabulous at helping us make a decision and keeping us on track (i.e. alerting us to go to the granite supplier to select our slabs) prior to install. Norman and his team were great on installation day--especially as issues arose due to prior shoddy work in our kitchen. Norman actively helped problem solve the on-site issues and followed-up with us to ensure that they were all resolved in a timely manner. We had to get come cabinetry work done and he was great about making sure it was taken care of. The granite looks great and they even helped refer us to another business to get our tile for our backsplash that gave us a huge discount because we worked with Budget Granite. Overall we really enjoyed working with everyone at Budget Granite and are really happy with the results of their work.
Description of Work: Budget Granite removed my existing countertop and backsplash; removed our sink/faucet; and installed a new sink and granite; and sealed it.

We had used Budget Granite in 2010 for a cabinet and countertop for our master bathroom. We decided to remodel our kitchen and half bath and we had seen that Budget Granite had a 10 x 10 special that could fit into our budget. We met with Brian, and brought to him our layout of the kitchen. He took the time to listen to what we liked, and what we were looking for, and made recommendations from that. He showed us our different choices we had, and never showed us something that was out of our budget. What we really liked is that Brian and his designer John came back to us with a great layout of our kitchen. They asked if we could move our dishwasher from the left side to the right side of the kitchen, and move our stove over to the left by two inches. We said sure, and because of that we were able to put a lazy susan in the corner. Our old kitchen had 18 inches of filler and dead space that was not useable, by making the changes they suggested we know have only 1 inch of filler by our dishwasher! they also suggested to take our cabinets up to the ceiling this would give us another 6 inches of space. It is amazing on how much more space we have in the kitchen. The best part was when they came up with solution to a wall right outside of our kitchen in the family room that was wasted space based on the angle of the wall. They were able to build floor to ceilings cabinets that now are used for storage and no wasted space. With the new cabinets we also had granite counter tops in the kitchen. It is amazing on how the kitchen looks so up to date, and custom compared to what it was. All the cabinets are built to the specifications of the kitchen, these are not out of the box you can buy at the big box stores, or even other cabinet shops. We took out our old cabinets to save money, and when the crew came in they did a great job in caring about the install, and made sure every detail was taken care of. They did not leave any mess behind, they cleaned up after all work was completed. We even had custom cabinet made for our half bath. This entire make over was less than $7500 the quality, and service was amazing. We are very happy with them, and working with Brian, John, Norman, and Sharon was a pleasure!

I had a lot of work to do and Norman took a lot of time making sure that the new cabinets matched the old cabinets. The price was reasonable and basically gave me a brand new kitchen.
Description of Work: The previous owner of my home replaced the lower cabinets but not the uppers. I wanted new uppers to match the existing lowers while also being a little grander since the lowers were a bit plain. Norman was able to match the cabinets exactly while adding some more ornate glasswork up above. Norman also added a granite countertop and replaced my pantry with matching cabinetry and made a built-in cabinet for my refrigerator.

I had a very good experience with their salesperson Brian. He went down to the warehouse to look at the piece that I needed and he called me to tell me that I didn't want them because they had epoxy in them so I would need to pick a new color. I was really impressed with that. He always found a solution to the problem, they were flexible with scheduling, and they were fair on their price. I found Brian to be user friendly and I kept referring back to him because the other employees didn't speak English very well and we didn't understand each other. Brian was very professional.
Description of Work: I bought granite counter tops from Budget Granite Countertops and they installed them as well.
