Bridgetown Window & Door

We are so glad we chose Bridgetown for this big job. Everyone we worked with - Jeff, Kevin, Jeremy and crew, and Laura in the office -- were knowledgeable, careful and professional from start to finish. Jeff explained everything (patiently), he and Kevin measured 2 or 3 times to be sure the replacements would fit, and the crew was efficient and tidy. Our house has been transformed.

Frank did a wonderful job helping us decide what we needed done, choosing styles, and balancing products with cost. Bridgetown wasn't the lowest bid, but we felt confident they would do quality work. Among several bids, Bridgetown was the only one who could replace the round window for a reasonable price. It took a few months between scheduling the job and the installation. Perhaps that's normal. All but the round window were replaced in one day. A problem with the round frame led to a delay of a few weeks, but Bridgetown worked as quickly as possible to finish the job. Jeremy and crew were very respectful of our home and cleaned up afterward. We had a pane of glass crack when we installed a sash pull per Bridgetown's instructions, and they replaced the entire sash without any argument or hassle. Overall, we had a great experience working with Bridgetown.

All company staff were professional, efficient and helpful. Kevin arrived to do the estimate right on time and the Marvin windows he recommended fit and look perfect. Laura in the office kept us posted on the expected installation date and details. The installers, Jeremy and Austin, worked quickly and competently. They kept dust and the old window debris confined to the one room. We’d definitely recommend them for quality, period-appropriate, windows and doors.

Kevin, who provided the bid, was great. He was thorough and patient, answered our questions and provided various options for how to complete the work. Justin, the foreman on the job, was professional and he and the crew were skilled and careful. Everything was done according to plan, and our new windows are gorgeous!

The installers were prompt, polite and professional. The craftsmanship as excellent and they thoroughly cleaned up after themselves. The windows are beautiful and enhance the appearance of our home inside and out. The work was planned for two days but only took one.

From start to finish this was an excellent company to work with. Kevin came out to give us an estimate and was low-pressure and well-informed. He listened well and didn't try to up-sell us. Laura in the office was on top of all communication and the crew was quick, skilled, and tidy.

My experience with all staff at Bridgetown has been first rate. Kevin listened to me carefully as we planned which product to use. Laura in the office communicated clearly and personably. All the field crew were outstanding. Justin, Reed, and Rafael were friendly, flexible, skillful, cooperative, informative. I couldn't be happier with the process and the results! PLUS, they were done two weeks ahead of schedule! This company actually deserves an "A+" rating for Responsiveness, Punctuality, and Professionalism. New windows are definitely an expensive investment, so choosing Bridgetown was the right move.

Hired Bridgetown to replace two upstairs casement windows. We'd first hired them last year, to replace a French door. Happy with that, it was easy to call them back this year. From sales to install, a class act.

I found Bridgetown to be very professional from the time of the estimate to the installation. The estimate provided by Anita was fast, informative and precise. The installation went very well, they arrived early and I was very impressed with the installation job and the job site clean up. I love my Miltex windows! Unlike most people, I cannot afford to replace all of my windows at once- 11 in all. The first company I hired to do the first 3 windows several years ago went out of business. I received 2 estimates last year from Bridgetown and Kemps for a 2 window replacement job. While Kemps did a good job and the price was acceptable, I was irritated that the crew arrived 2 hours late for the installation and acted like it was not a big deal. Bridgetown approached me early this year to see if I would be interested in using them (they were my second choice last year) and I was very glad that I did. I appreciate the fact that they worked with me to schedule an acceptable installation time due to my work schedule. I hope to finish my window installation project next year with Bridgetown.

The whole process was an extremely positive experience from the first appt to the finished product and even the last encounter. Kevin the owner is very experienced, knowledgeable and delightful to work with. He has developed a very efficient work flow involving a very skilled team to execute the job. You feel very taken care of during the whole process and he was willing to have several planning meetings on the front end to make sure I was going to get a product that would be functional and fit with the architectural style of my home. I have a particular situation where my windows are unprotected to the weather. Kevin was able to offer me a product to meet all those needs. The job itself was practically seamless. My house had some particular challenges with a rot situation and Kevin and his team did an outstanding job. What is most remarkable is how they care for your home. They hardly leave a trace. Very clean and conscious of your space. I have nothing but gratitude for the services provided by Bridgetown Window and Door. I did have to wait several months to get on their schedule and it was well worth the wait!

I found Bridgetown on Angie's List as I was very cautious about working with window contractors. There have been companies that somehow found their way to our door (usually from home show ) and they just won't take no for an answer. I really didn't want to do business with a company that wants to replace ALL of my windows or nothing. Kevin was great with keeping the appointment time as scheduled in order to review the job and provide the options and an estimate. There was no pressure whatsoever to upsell other work to accompany this job. He talked with my wife (this is for her art studio) and took the time to understand her requirements for the new window and then proposed one with the exact dimensions and features she specified. The estimate and statement of work was received the same day as the appointment. Laura was great to work with on scheduling the installation. After placing the work on their schedule, she kept in close touch to let us know that there was an opportunity to advance the date if we were OK with the earlier date. She kept me closely informed regarding the arrival time and who would be coming, etc. Jeremy performed the installation and the work was completed quickly and with great care. Cleanup was great and they were out the door without anything out of place. My wife is ecstatic with her new window and was very pleased that it met her exact specifications. Bridgetown has been great to work with on this project and I plan to hire them for upcoming jobs to replace some old-style slider doors.

The work was performed in three stages, most of it last Christmas, and the last in August, 2015. Four installers came out and bid on the job, and I believe all of them would have done well, but it was Kevin Betker who seized our confidence and never lost it. He must eat and breathe windows. He was creative in helping us decide, explained clearly and never, ever pushed us on any point that came up, and there were a few. The initial work was done over a week while we were on vacation, and every night Kevin would send us a photo lullaby off the work's progress. And we did indeed sleep soundly. Kevin is not a one-man band: his girl Friday (Laura) was responsive and a pleasure on the phone, and so were his crew who when they cleaned up afterward actually left our 1910 arts and crafts building cleaner than they found it. Our only regret with Bridgetown is that we ran out of windows for them to do. Our neighbor was so impressed watching the crew work and seeing the windows inside that she contracted her 30 something windows to Bridgetown as well.

Kevin and the team at Bridgetown Window and Door are absolutely top-notch. From start to finish they were so professional, so flexible and extremely friendly and accommodating to work with. I had them come out to do an initial bid and then decided not to do the work and when I called a week later to do another bid on different windows, they came right out and didn't balk at all. They fit me into the busy summer schedule so as not to hold up my own, they had products to fit a wide range of budgets, and their installation team did high-quality work, was clean and extremely efficient - they even offered to help with something a previous contractor had left undone on my roof while they had their long ladders up. I was so nervous having someone cut into the side of my house to make an egress-compliant window (nightmares of rain and such leaking in running through my head) and they did a fantastic job, and sealed the house up tight. I would recommend BW&D to anyone. My house is my most important asset and they treated it as if it was their own and went above and beyond. I wish they did general construction so I could have them on our entire remodel.

Happy camper. Bridgetown is a class act. We replaced an aging French door with a Marvin Integrity door. The install crew, Justin and Jeremy, were total professionals who did an excellent job. Weatherproofing was a priority due to strong rain and sun exposure with a history of leaks nearby (not caused by the old door, as it turns out). Kevin suggested Marvin Integrity because a Fiberglas door should hold up well in exposed site. The Marvin door is quite nice (not cheap, but I didn't want a low-end door). The Bridgetown crew did an excellent job with interior finish details, e.g., by closing matching the original 1920s trim. Good punctuality, communication, and follow through..

All of the staff people were professional, punctual, and personable. Kevin helped me choose the type of windows and gave me the estimate. Jeremy and Rafaele did the installation. They were very courteous, and finished the job in exactly the estimated time frame. They tented off the areas where they were working to avoid dust in the rest of the house and mopped the floors before they left. My house was cleaner than before. I love the new windows, they are beautiful, let in more light and I don't have drafts anymore. I would recommend them highly.

Kevin and his team were great to work with. They were professionals. They the worksite spotless every day, and took great care to make certain that the job was done to my specifications. Kevin checked in with me regularly to made certain I was satisfied with progress and made sure I knew what to expect at each stage of the project. The windows look fantastic. My house is warmer, lighter and quieter by far. I recommend Bridgetown Windows and Doors highly.

Kevin showed up WITH HIS TEAM on the appointed start day. He made introductions, ensuring a smooth transition and an immediate level of comfort in working with all of his employees. They did not disappoint. Communication was always clear, direct and friendly. They always showed up on time and worked smoothly and efficiently with minimal interruption to our home life. Kevin stopped in periodically to make sure all was well, as it always was. These men worked tirelessly through the freezing rain with smiles on their faces, always accomplishing exactly what they said would be done on any given day. They were polite and kind, even complimenting the bathrobe I was sewing for my husband! We could not be happier with the results, our windows are gorgeous and effectively cut out the obnoxious dogs' barking from across the street. Our door is a work of art, a piece of furniture that gives our home the warm welcoming feeling we were hoping for. Thanks to Kevin's knowledgable recommendation, our front door is the perfect blend of open windows for light placed at the optimal height for privacy. The truth is, I was sad to see the job end. Working with Kevin and all of his amazing fellas was one of the best experiences I've had in terms of updating our home. I would and will call this company again as soon as I can find a reason to. Perhaps the garage needs a new window/door?

I met with Kevin to review the project and what we wanted to do. He came out and took measurements and spent time understanding what was important to us. We wanted to maintain the look of the house, which is a classic craftsman style. We reviewed different window styles and manufactures and ultimately settled on the the Marvin Infinity line for the windows and a durable but matching Simpson door. I'd done the research beforehand on quality and value for these products although we looked at other manufacturers as well. Kevin helped to walk through all the options, which can be a bit overwhelming. I?d done some sketches of our thoughts for the project and Kevin spent some time putting together a mock up visual of the windows so we could get the idea of the finished project. He made the process simple. After we decided the colors, options and style we ordered the windows and door and scheduled the work for about a month or so out. The installation took several days to complete and work progressed quickly. They were always out on time and recapped how the work went during the day. We ran into an issue with one window that happened to have a defect from the factory. Jeremy brought this to our attention and worked with Kevin to get a new one ordered. Usually the turn around time is about a month, but they were able to speed this up and come out to fix it in a few weeks. They installed one temporarily to get it looking finished. The way the whole situation was handled made me feel very confident that I was being taken care of. Everything was always cleaned up after the work day and left in a clean manner. I've worked with many contractors and subcontractors through my previous profession as an electrician and the level of attention to detail and craftsmanship from the entire crew was amazing. Jeremy and the team are such great people and do excellent work. The windows look amazing. The door looks great. The woodwork and framing was some of the best I?ve seen. Top notch team. Excellent work. They really take care of their customers. The end results were absolutely amazing. It turned out better than we imagined.

I met Kevin Betker at Versatile window and Sash a few years back when I first started replacing my windows and I was impressed with his knowledge and professionalism. So when I found out that had opened Bridgetown I knew that I wanted to work with him. The whole process was very straightforward, he came and took measurements and turned around estimates very quickly. I had some questions about true divide lites vs. overlay and he explained the issues with energy efficiency in true divided lights which I appreciated. Kevin was also very enthusiastic about our choice of white oak for the windows. Of course we were considering cost but since it was for the living room and dining room we decided it was worth it and was it ever! The room totally transformed after the new windows and the difference in insulation in the room is drastically different. The installation was smooth and easy as we expected and I would definitely recommend Bridgetown to anyone considering window replacement.

They did an excellent job. They custom ordered the windows and they took two weeks to come in. They took all the measurements in one visit and placed the order. The installation was great and completed by a team of two in about two days, which was as expected.

From the quote through installation, everything went extremely smooth. We had a very specific vinyl window in mind with exterior color options, and Kevin worked with us to get us exactly what we wanted. The crew was extremely nice and professional and did a fantastic job cleaning up their work at the end of each day. We've had issues with contractors in the past working short days and spreading the job out, not so with these guys. They finished right on time and worked hard to meet the timelines they presented to us. Point of note: We had an oddly sized kitchen window, which caused us to loose a lot of light due to the window brand we went with. This ended up being a bit of a surprise to us. When we brought up our concerns with Kevin, these guys went above and beyond to make sure we were happy, and replaced the window for us - that just doesn't happen every day. Customer service is definitely a priority with Bridgetown, and it shows. I would absolutely recommend these guys for any window or door installation, big or small.

I called this provider on 9-27-14 and left a message. They called back and scheduled an appointment for 10-7-14. During the night prior to the scheduled appointment I received an email that said they had to cancel the appointment because the firm volume was too high and they could not give me the kind of service they felt a customer deserves. Two referrals were given. I believe that the appointment commitment should have been kept and the company should verbally let future customers know they are scheduling pretty far out, or cannot help them at this time and offer a referral. This was the second provider I tried from Angie's list and I still had no information or estimate for window and door replacement. What's the point of trying to secure good, reliable, quality work when the provider is simply not available? I'm canceling Angie's list.
