It started out great. Our sales lady, Peggy, was wonderful. She was very personable and knew the product well. The Bedroom Superstore also offered us a no-interest financing plan which worked out beautifully. The furniture was delivered timely to our house and looks wonderful... except for the dresser. Unfortunately, we didn't notice the problem with the finish on the dresser until after the delivery guys had left. I called the customer service number and after much effort trying to convince the gal that we really did have a legitimate problem with it, they sent out a "wood technician" to have a look at it. He agreed that the finish was not correct - most likely the wood was damp when the finish was put on and so it formed rough, tiny bubbles along both sides of the dresser - and that we should have the dresser replaced. So The Bedroom Superstore ordered us a new one. The new dresser arrived in early December, but the customer serivce gal called to say that the dresser had gotten damaged in shipment and they would have to order us a new one (a third dresser). So dresser number three finally arrives at the end of December. The delivery guys bring it to the house and I asked them to take the plastic off of the dresser while it was still in the truck so I could have a look at it. Wouldn't you know, same problem with dresser number three. It's got a bad finish on it. And the funny thing is, we have no problem with the bed or the nightstands at all. It's just the dresser. Anyway, I told them that for the price of the dresser ($1200 dollars) it needs to be in perfect condition and to send it back. So I'm on the phone with the gal in customer service yet again. She said she would order a new dresser and this time, once it comes in, we can take a look at it in the warehouse to make sure it's in good condition before brining it to the house. I asked her how long it would take for dresser number FOUR to arrive and she didn't think it would take very long at all. That was at the end of December. Mid-January 2009, I receive a call from customer service to tell me that the new dresser should be in by the end of January. Huh? So much for not taking very long! Well, here we are into February now and we are still waiting for dresser number four with no word from the Bedroom Superstore. And we bought the furniture before Thanksgiving! The Bedroom Superstore has made it clear that getting us a dresser with a good finish on it - what we actually paid for! - is NOT a priority for them. They're very eager to make the sale and they deliver the furniture quickly. However, they act as if defective merchandise is not their problem and do not seem to put forth much effort in making it right. I am extremely disappointed, it has been over two months now, and we still don't have our dresser.
Description of Work: We purchased a new bedroom set just before Thanksgiving 2008. This included a queen bed, two nightstands, and mule chest (dresser). The furniture was delivered and installed in the bedroom by the delivery guys.

LIARS! We loved the bed set but the posts were too high for our ceiling fan. Nathan our salesman said that the great thing about this bed is that the posts unscrew at the rear toe board and the top sconces can be placed at the bed level so there are two tall and two short posts. We do it all the time and it looks great he assured us. To our dismay when the furniture was delivered the posts did not unscrew, the delivery guys had never set this bed up this way so we ended up with the top sconce uninstalled on one post where it was too high. I opened the garage so the canopy could be stowed there and the next day my golf clubs were gone. The repairman they sent was clueless about how to modify the posts. The manager said he would look into getting some modified posts from the factory but weeks went by and I did not hear back. I went to the store and confronted Nathan the liar who said his guys would never steal and that he would have the manager call but no word. No morals here!
