gutter repair
+ -1 moreWhen we recently had some other roof work done, the cracked and leaking gutters installed by B&K Metal were discovered. Apparently it is widely known that solder joints will crack with expansion and contraction due to temperature changes and that gutter joints need to be joined together by rivets or some other type of fastener in order to withstand the temperature fluctuations. The quality of the materials and work is substandard and has not held up. Basically the gutters have to be replaced
Description of Work: B+K installed stainless steel gutters at the time of re roofing of flat roofs at our home. We just re roofed the rest of our house 3 1/2 years later and found out that the gutters installed by B+K are broken apart and are leaking. We contacted B+K and they have come out to repair the defects at no extra cost, but it is very concerning that gutters that they initially installed which are expected to last 20-25 years are leaking 3 1/2 years after installation. they have been responsive and responsible about the problems with their gutters to date.
