 + -1 moreI called about the stereo, the owner (I think it's a 1-man shop) told me to bring it in, poked at it, said it'd be about two weeks, wrote me a slip and said he'd call me. He called me and the stereo was fixed; I also happened to be in the market for some nice restored speakers and I got a pair I'm in love with! He wasn't pushy, didn't try to upsell, wasn't sales-gross, and steered me to the set that would sound the best, both in the shop and based on our discussion of my listening area, at home. Prices are quite fair for a one-man shop that isn't at all pretentious. In other words - better value here than at some snooty "audiophile" stereo shops closer to downtown, and you can find some real gems for gear.
Description of Work: The provider repaired a Goodwill rescue with a couple dodgy parts. Sounds good as new, and new was golden when this baby was made!
