A.L. has been with us for approximately 2 years and has provided affordable yet excellent service . Our neighbors compliment us on our yard.

This was one of the best experiences I have had with any service company. Robert and his crew were professional and went the extra mile in service. He put me in touch with a great fence builder, who did an outstanding job for me. Just so you know, it rained after Robert had put in the swale, and I had a canal of standing water for 4 or 5 days, so I called Robert to let him know. He came out the next clear day, and corrected the problem. He also cleaned my gutters, mowed my grass, and barked the front area, when I was only paying him for the back yard. These guys worked hard, quickly, and made sure that I was 100% satisfied with their work. I can't wait for the summer to enjoy my new backyard!

Robert and his 2-3 man crew started each day at the break of dawn and did not leave until 5:30-6:00pm. They are all very hard-working and meticulous workers. Plywood was laid on my existing lawn to protect it and they always left the work place tidy. Robert has the experience and knowledge to know what looks good and would often make suggestions. It is obvious he takes pride in his work and it shows. What I also like about Robert is that he would often go the extra mile to make things right often at no extra charge. I highly recommend Artistic Landscapes.

Many years ago, we had the hillside alongside our driveway cut back to provide an additional parking space. The land is very sloped, so the 6-foot hillside ended up very crumbly and ugly. Robert built a curved dry-stacked wall that followed the curvature of the hill. He also suggested adding another small one further up the driveway. The work looks fantastic! Where I previously had a major eyesore, I now have a very finished, polished look! Thanks!

Backyard was badly damaged during the construction of an addition to our house. The owner of Artistic Landscapes, Robert Kinsey, came out promptly, gave us some ideas for repair of the lawn and landscaping around the new construction, and submitted a reasonable bid. His bid was somewhat higher than others, but my wife liked his installation recommendations and professionalism. He removed the old lawn, reconditioned the soil, raised some low areas, installed a French drain, installed new sod, and re-built garden stairs. It took about 3 days with his crew working steadily, and came out beautifully. His crew was very neat and courteous, and they cleaned up after themselves at the end of every day, very neatly stacking tools and material. I will definitely use them again in the future, and would recommend them to friends and neighbors.

Artistic Landscapes handled all aspects of the project from start to finish in a completely professional manner. Robert and his crew were very easy to deal with throughout all phases of design and construction, and the finished product is exactly as we envisioned it would be. We would highly recommend Artistic Landscapes due to their design capabilities, work ethic and cost effectiveness.

Everything was great. I have owned three homes and dealt with multiple service providers, and Artistic Landscapes is the best one by far.

It went very well once the installation started. Due to Artistic Landscapes being booked up - they didn't get started on the job until a couple weeks after they were initally planning on starting. Communication was excellent with the exception of a missed appointment (start date), and once we agreed upon a new start date - it was pretty smooth sailing from then on. Bob and his crew were extremely conscientious and hard-working during the install process. It wasn't an easy cut and dry installation either. There were many drip zones for pots/window planters, a courtyard, a brick wall with a long line of shrubs, a terrace, a large lawn area, multiple shrub zones, and an old defunct sprinkler system to work around. I would like to note that they did such a meticulous job digging the trenching and carefully placing everything back in its' place, we could barely tell there had been any disruption to the yard at all! It looked MUCH better than I expected when they were done, and in just a few weeks the yard looked completely back to normal with no installation 'scars' at all. We lost a shrub or two during the installation process, which were promptly replaced by Bob. We also have had a few issues with our longest drip line (and it is pretty long), but that was rectified immediately as well. Bob explained the installation process, and when finished, the operating instructions well. I don't worry that we're going to be left 'high and dry' if we need him to make adjustments and/or repairs to the system in the future. He seems to be very interested in continuing customer satisfaction. Overall, we were very pleased with Bob and the Artistic Landscape crew.

We are so pleased with how this project turned out! We were constantly tripping up over the loose stones in the walkway, and dealing with weeds popping up in the pea gravel. Robert helped us pick out the best color of 'gator dust' to match the existing flagstone, and then he and his crew dug out the walkway to make it more even with the surrounding lawn. They also added a few additional pieces of flagstone as needed. The project took a little over 1/2 a day, and again, we love the end result!

Said two days to do the job. Was two days. Better than I expected. He said I would love his idea & I do! On time, cleaned up after completion & followed up after wards.

Robert and his staff do outstanding work. We were impressed with Robert's design ideas and that he participated in the work from start to finish. They were 100% professional, always on time, courteous, did more than promised, and delivered a better result than I imagined. We will be using Artistic Landscape again.

Excellent experience from initial discussion to completion of job.

I found them on Angie's List, as they had good reviews. I liked Robert for the most part, but I had some post job issues where he quoted us on monthly service so that we would continue to work with him on a monthly basis instead of our regular landscaper. When it came time that the lawn had died, as you have to have it dead before you can rip it out, my husband wanted a written bid for the monthly work, as he didn't want any surprises. The rate not only went up $20 per month, but it didn't include winter leaf blowing. We ended up not going with him because of that. He wouldn't honor the price when he first quoted us on the grass. We had some problems with the grass but we fertilized it and that seemed to solved the problem.

Robert has now completed 2 projects along our lake front and is scheduled for another. On both projects he has exceeded my expectations and has come in on budget for one and well under for the 2nd.

We have used Artistic Landscapes before and remain completely pleased with their work and level of professionalism. The installation was done quickly and very efficiently with minimal impact on our existing landscape. The new lawn and plants are Beautiful!

It was great, they spent two days of very hard, labor intensive work with no breaks. Robert ensured we were happy with the work before they left. Cleaned everything up and the job was done. Looks Great!

The project went great! We are getting ready to sell our home and needed a yard make-over first! The name "artistic landscapes" says it all! Robert came to give us an estimate (which was the best of any company we contacted). We had some ideas of our own, but were also seeking input as well. Robert had some great suggestions which we agreed with for our yard. Robert was great at communicating with us the entire way through the project. He and his crew were very hard working, punctual, professional, neat and tidy and seemed to really take great pride in the work they did. It was evident that they did not just do things the quickest way to get them done, but rather put that extra time and energy into the project to ensure that we would have long time lasting results. Everything went exactly as planned, on time and on budget. Once we move into our new home, we will be calling Artistic Landscapes to come and work their magic again!

Robert are very passionate about his work. He listened to our request very carefully and the thoughtfulness shows in their work. He and crews came on time and worked very hard from the beginning to the end of the project. Thanks to them, our yard looks great. We have also asked maintenance of the yard starting from next month, and we are looking forward to it!

Robert was punctual from our first appointment to discuss our needs, to arriving on time and completing the project quickly. It was a two day project. Our original need was to have the bark replaced and he came up with additional ideas for adding shrubs and trees to the yard. They started the work on 1/27, when they arrived they began working right away, they layed out where the plants would go and removed our old bark, edged our lawn, tree and fence area. On the second day they completed planting and finished installing the bark mulch. We were provided with reasonable pricing and although they ended up using a few more plants than planned, we were not charge more. Our yard now looks amazing, we are very impressed with their work and highly recommend the company.

The work took three days. Robert and his crew were always punctual. They showed up when they said they would and cleaned up the work area at the end of each day. Robert kept me apprised of their progress on a daily basis, and made sure that we understood what they were going to do the next day. Originally, we were going to have the narrow steps rebuilt. However, after they started work on the front yard, we asked Robert if he could replace the steps with a ramp instead. This would make it much easier for us to roll our trash and recycle bins to and from the curb. He pretty much designed it on the spot, and later that day called me to explain what he planned to do. Robert said that the cost would be the same as rebuilding the steps, which was unexpected. About a week after the job was completed, Robert called to see if we had any questions or concerns. We had noticed that some weeds were popping up and that two of the sprinklers were dumping a lot of water onto the driveway. Robert and his crew appied more pre-emergent weed control and changed out the sprinkler heads at no charge. We are extremely pleased with the quality of their work and their professionalism, and would definitely hire them again.

Exceptional. Robert responded to my calls quickly, helped me pick the plants that worked well in my space and fit my taste, worked diligently in the pouring rain and had a great attitude. He and his crew did more than I expected, for the same price as the estimate. I highly, highly recommend Artistic Landscapes.

With the exception of the weather (12 inches of snow), everything went smoothly. The only issue that arose is that the drainage issue was a lot more than Bob anticipated and we had to install a French drain over and above the original quote (very minimal cost).

Bob and his crew had a lot of work to do as this was a huge job. When I bought the house, the yard was a mess. Bob had some great ideas so I decided to let him design and implement his ideas. When I saw the finished yard I had just returned from an out of town vacation. It was about 2AM but I couldn't stop walking around the house. It was amazing. I was and still am extremely pleased with how beautiful my yard looks. I would not hesitate to recommend Artistic Landscape to anyone. I worked in the construction field for about 20 years before changing professions. I've seen a lot of contractors over the years and I can tell you that Bob inspires confidence in his work.

Turned out great! Bob is so conscientious we've hired him to do the regular lawn care.
