+ -1 moreWe moved into a newer construction home with a large great room, kitchen and living room. It was very white, and we were overwhelmed with where to go with our very "white" living space.... We were referred to Amy at Design for Home from a friend. She had amazing ideas that made our great room amazing. She added rich color to the walls, different textures with raw silk draperies and warm tone area rugs. Amy's ideas were something I would never thought of, but it was exactly what I was looking for. We LOVE the way our downstairs turned out. It is so welcoming and inviting. We have received so many complements!
Description of Work: Color consultation, Furniture arrangement, Window Coverings and Art placement. We hired Design for Home to help us with a color consult/redecoration of our great room, kitchen, office and downstairs bath. Amy developed a very professional presentation depicting the colors and ideas for a truly new look and feel for our great room. Amy selected new slate tile for the kitchen floor and fireplace surround, pulled a warm, rich paint color palette from the colors in the slate tile for the entire main floor, and added raw silk draperies with a tone-on-tone effect. She also had great recommendations for rearranging our existing furniture. Amy was punctual and timely with her appointments. She was very attentive and had quick turn around for questions through the completion of our project.
